Darts electronic scorer
Really pleased with this item. You can spend a lot more money and get the omni surround for automatic scoring via an iPad app but I didn’t want to go to that extent. This is a basic scorer similar to the ones in the old pubs or clubs. It’s a decent size and the buttons feel spongy enough when you press them. It’s just a little too expensive but after using for a couple of sets it’s a must buy, unless you can find something similar and cheaper. It really helps your games flow, the time you save using one of these is crazy. The instructions are very basic and don’t explain much. For those who want to know how to add legs and sets, my Son worked it out… At the start of a leg it asks you how many legs you want to play. Then eventually after you input your winning score, say for player 1. You then press enter on player ones side until it says ‘DRT’ then press ‘1’ and then the ‘Enter’ button on player ones side again and it will add the Leg. Once you reach the maximum Leg amount that you chose at the start of the match it automatically adds the Set to that players score.

a cheap toy
I had great hopes for this item, not one of the cheapest, but not the most expensive by long way. fantastic delivery, ordered one day, arrived the next day. no problems there.. The address label had been stuck directly to the box, no bag or box, just the manufacturers box. So as a gift, the box was now no good, unless you want to spend hours steaming the labels off, while trying to conserve the integrity or the box, massive fail.. Took the electronic dart scorer out of the packaging, looks very cheap, certainly not nearly £100 worth, not that I want to drop it, but accidents happen, and this cheap toy would fail on the first bounce. The readouts are good, nice and bright. Good size buttons too. But the instructions, basically a double side printed A4 sheet, that explains what every does, but that's it. No real explanation of what the modes are, or how you can change from one game to another. Only by experiment did I find out the quite easiest way to change anything, is to switch it off and then back on. The power lead that comes in the box is the old mini USB, whereas I thought all new USB items had to be USB C, not that it matters, the lead seem to have enough length, but only if the electronic dart scorer is next to the plug, some people that will use this, will not have a plug that close, so will need to put an extension lead in, or move the dart board. As the box is ruined, it looks like I may have to keep this one, and I don't have a dart board set up at my house. and either by the cheaper one, that almost looks identical, and gift that one. Or make up some really poor excuse about how the box is in such poor condition. Either way, I'm stuck with this cheap toy dart scorer that cost nearly £100... so not really cheap at all.
