Fanny Wang 3000 Series Over-Ear Wangs Luxury Headphones with Active Noise Canceling and Apple Integrated Remote and Mic - Black (FW-3003-BLK)

These are my 2nd pair of Fanny Wang Over the Ear headphones that I've had the pleasure of owning / purchased! These 3000 Series are a step-up from the "tuxedo 2000 series" I previously owned... I purchased Navy Blue ones because its my favorite color and the noise cancellation is superb on the 3000 model! They cancel 95% of "outside noise" which allows me to enjoy my music better. I bought them for $285 on Amazon and they're worth every penny!!!

Was disappointed. The noise canceling didn't work all that well. I was using them to watch a movie and in the quiet parts I could still hear my wall clock ticking from 10 feet away with the ANC turned on. The sound is good, but the ANC isn't worth the extra $150 so go for the 2000's for a $100. Returning them

As soon as I plugged these into my MacBook Pro they started buzzing and hissing. They are comfortable and stylish. The sound is good if I crank them up loud enough to overcome all the buzzing.*UPDATE* Day 2 and I found out what was causing the buzzing: my iPhone 5s. Anytime the headphones get within 1m of the phone they start to buzz, hiss, and squeal. So far I have got no response from customer service.Amazon you need a 'No star' option for stuff like this.

This headphone looks really funny if you wear them on. these headphones have very nice design, but the look when you wear them reminds me of yoda from starwars... also I didn't like the sound. Many people lauded this headphone because of its sound quality, but I think it is not so much different with other headphones.

While I'm not an audiophile, I appreciate quality sound.Pros:Surprisingly good sound, better than Beats, hands down.Decent active noise cancellation. It wont silence your surroundings. I take the train in NYC everyday and they do reduce a considerable amount of noise, but not silence it.Tone. Bass is deep, mid's and high's are at a good level.Can be used without batteries. They are required for the ANC to function as well as the bass boost. sound is not poor with these functions disabled, however the unit sounds much better with them enabled.Good sound leakage. These stay pretty quiet to those around you, even when they are turned up so sound leakage isn't a problem.Can double as earmuffs on a really cold day...Cons:They are comfortable to wear for about an hour, after that it is really noticeable that you've got something this size on your head.In warmer temperatures your ears will get hot. These do a good job of passive noise cancellation, but the seal it creates around your ear can become sweaty on a hot day.The wired mic and device rocker unit is a bit on the clunky side. The mic is inferior to the mic you would get on a pair of earbuds.Lack of band padding. The portion of the band that makes contact with your head is not well padded and the material used feels flimsy.Locking mechanism on the plate that accesses batteries. This has opened up on me while wearing them. Thankfully there is a small tether that holds the plate to the unit or I would have lost it.Name. Looking someone in the eye and saying, "Yea, I didn't get Beats, Bose or Sony, I got these here Fanny Wangs..."Would have been 5 stars if not for design issues.You get what you pay for and these are worth what I payed.

These headphone were the perfect choice. The sound quality is great, I'm glad I didn't pay the extra 150 dollars for the brand with the huge endorsement.

The headphones are really good the sound quality is unparalleled and the noise cancelling is one of the best. However I have issues with the design the headphones themselves are too and the joint between the ear cup and the head band is too flimsy and broke way to easily especially considering the price of the headphones

Open the noise and bass, hear the unbearable noise. Not normally listen to music. so bad.I need to return, please contact me.
