Recipe pictures on covers but not indexed to the recipe.
I think the cookbook is worth what I paid for it. I would have paid four times as much probably if it had actual pictures incorporated into the cookbook that the author actually made themselves. The author may have indeed made the recipes but I would have liked to have seen them adjacent to the actual recipe in the cookbook.The front and back cover has pictures of recipes that are in the cookbook however I would have liked a little inset on each picture with the page number of the recipe that goes with the picture.For the price I think this is worth it. It goes into a nice explanation of what the keto diet is as well as the different versions of Keto, what ketogenesis is, things to look out for, Etc. It's well-written in that aspect.I think it would make a great hand out for a diet doctor to give to new patients looking to do the keto diet.

Great info on keto . Lots of duplication in breakfast chapter. Nothing interesting in dessert chapter . I didn't read the rest this book will help someone beginning this way of eating .but not for me

I found the book very informative, and easy to follow, definitely a good introduction into the 'World of the Keto Diet'.The recipes were easy to follow, a few had Servings for 1 - 2 people which is great for my husband and I.The only thing that did not appeal to me, some of the recipes had Servings for 4, or 6 people (understandably you need to include those too); however if you don't need those large servings, it's sometimes time consuming to keep reducing the size of the recipes in half or thirds. That being said, I think a quick reference chart in the book for reducing a recipe size would be great.With no pictures in the book, I believe a few should of been included. Overall great book for the money.

Lots of typos, not the best beginner book
I started my Keto journey with this book and have lost weight with it very easily so far, however, there are lots of typos and errors in the recipes from directions to ingredients. Also, it's supposed to be geared for one person, but many of the recipes are for 2, 4 or 6 servings, thus you adjust a lot if you're trying to follow the week guide of what to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner so you don't end up with a lot of extra food. Be prepared to spend lots of time adjusting the recipes due to serving sizes or errors in the ingredient list or directions. The recipes are not in alphabetical order or in order by the week plan, so you are flipping back and forth A LOT. There is no shopping list for the week, so plan to spend about 1-2 hours going through the weeks recipes if you want to shop only once for the week. EVERY recipe requires cooking, there is no easy quick way to work this book. You will need to carefully PLAN every meal and make sure you have time for prep, cook and clean up and because it's all new, just double the estimated recipe time. I finally deviated from the week plan and made sure whatever I had for dinner was doubled so it was also lunch the next day because I didn't have time for so much cooking. I only liked about half the recipes personally, which for a start at only $7.50 was a good deal, but if I had known about Dirty Lazy Keto, I would not have chosen this book. Since I started losing weight, I decided Keto was a good choice for me and decided to spend money on the Dirty Lazy Keto book, with the 100 recipes in it. I loved it! I wish I had purchased that book first, it's fantastic. My suggestion is to start there and DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS BOOK.

Love it!
I needed to lower my BMI so I got this book and did it! I am an experienced cook and found the recipes very adaptable. As a retired librarian I made an index. Easily done on computer. If you feel you need one and aren't computer savvy let your kids do it. I think they come into the world now knowing how to use one.

Good recipes for beginning keto some recipes go by ounces .
Needed measuring supplies for ounces .Easy recipes if your used to cooking . Good plan lost 10 lbs 21 days .

I wish you had a zero star because this would get it. The quantities did not make any sense in some casescontradicted each other...One recipe was identical to another but was given a different name...ingredients wereidentical but one said it was 1 serving the other said 2. There were recipes that showed 6 servings but the ingredients were definitely for one person only. A lot a typos as well. I noticed this had Amazon's name on it inside the cover...did not know that Amazon is now printing books.....this was a huge disappointment and the Dr. who's name is on it should be embarrassed.

Dont waste your money
This book is a complete waste of money.There are no photos,There are lots of typos,There is no carb information for any recipe,There are no portion sizes for any recipe.The recipes are uninspiring.Having followed the keto diet for 4 months with my husband, I would recommend The Diet Doctor website for ideas, inspiration, recipes, photos, and encouragement.Don't waste your money on this book, as the only pounds you will lose are from your wallet.

Don’t bother
Just downloaded this to my Kindle but 20 minutes later deleted it. I really don’t fancy eating all those eggs and so much bacon.

Glorified leaflet for a 4 week diet.
Very thin, poorly printed. The item looks like it was printed at home. It's a glorified leaflet with a 4 week diet plan which makes it an expensive product.
