Earthborn Elements Steel Cut Oats (1 Gallon), Also Called Irish Oatmeal, Breakfast, Resealable Bucket

I am a retired grain trader and used to buy oat groats for a large mill that sold steel cut oats in grocery stores. These are very high-quality steel cut oats. Better than any other brand I have ever eaten. If you like steel cut oatmeal, this is the brand to get. Very hard to find this quality. Large groats with very few fines.

Very good product. Tastes good. Texture is good. Value is good. Very fresh.

Hubs and I LOVE this oatmeal! If you're an oatmeal-lover; buy it. Cook it 3 to 1 proportions of water to oats, add a pinch or two of salt (trust me here - it makes it better) and simmer it on the stove until it's chewy or soft, whichever you prefer. We cook white raisins in ours and serve with a brown sugar/cinnamon mixture - just yum!This is NOTHING like oatmeal bought in the grocery store - even if you buy an expensive box of imported steel-cut oats. Eat a bowl of this and you'll not be hungry for hours!!

Really good quality oats and I don't understand all of the negative comments regarding the lid. It's the same way lids have been sealed for a long time. If you're hands are a little weaker then use a basic pair of pliers to grab the pull tab.

The lid is almost impossible to open. We used tools to open the lid and in the process the lid was destroyed. Can’t reuse the bucket and lid now. Oatmeal was great, but the lid is horrible! I hope they change the lid. I will no longer purchase from them unless the lid is changed!

These oats are terrific. Taste great and come in a big container that lasts a long time. I put fruit on top and have them for breakfast.

Wow I was excited to get my order today rather then TuesdayLike the price and that it's made in 🇺🇸 USA.Cooks up better then some brands I buy in the store.I'll order again.Only problem!!!! I couldn't get the lid off. Tab wouldn't pull too tough.I had to use a utility knife to cut inside top of lid out.

Love they come in bulk. Will buy from again.
