Pyrex 233-PC 3 Quart Blue 9" x 13" Baking Dish Lid - Will NOT Fit Easy Grab Baking Dish

After carefully reading through all of the descriptions of various lids, I purchased this one as a replacement for a 1997 9x13 Pyrex lid that I had melted on my stove a few years back (the pan was a 233-S and no description mention if it would fit the "S" ones). It fits great and is easy to use the tab handles to remove it. It's a brighter blue than my old one (which I have a second of for the other pan of the same size), so I'll be able to tell the two apart in the fridge quickly now.

The Pyrex cover perfectly fits my 9 x 13 Pyrex dish and replaces the one I accidentally melted when I forgot it was in the oven containing brownies baked several days earlier. After having turned the oven on preheat ten minutes earlier for a meal, I realized the brownies were inside, and my original cover had melted at the corners and was no longer useable.The new one fits great and won't be allowed to visit the inside of the oven.

The cover costs almost as much as the dish I think I bought in sale, but it’s worth the convenience. Good quality & dishwasher safe. Easy to wash by hand too.

I like the color but mostly I like that it fit my pan. I've had my pan for some years and it didn't come with a lid when I purchased it. I'm so happy that they have one available that fit. Now i don't have to use foil or saran wrap that sticks to my food/desserts. I made tiramisu before I received my lid and had to use foil to cover. It pulled up some of the cocoa and filling off the top.

This fits my pyrex 9" x 13" 233-S baking dish perfect (solid handles, ribbed sides). I like it better than the original, because it's easier to remove (this one has extended tabs, in each corner, on one end). It was delivered in just a bag, so it was pretty distorted. After leaving it on the dish for a few days, it has straightened out pretty good. Description now talks about "older" dish being a NO. I have a 233-N dish but did not know that it was "older." Didn't fit; close but no. Oh well. Cover says Pyrex on it, but can't guarantee it is not a fake, as the plastic behaves much differently than the known true Pyrex covers I got with other dishes. Seems of reasonable quality; color is uniform. Plastic is considerably stiffer than previous ones and always is warped. The underside is very involved with fins and tabs, not simple like my others.

Somehow I ended up misplacing the lid for my Pyrex casserole dish. This resulted in the use of foil whenever I needed to cover one of my incredible delicious goodies. A foil cover isn’t sturdy in the fridge judging by all the items my boyfriend thought he could stack on it. With the magical inventory of Amazon, I ordered and received this fantastic lid and no longer have to growl in disapproval when I see the mess of leftovers crashing through the former tinfoil wearing Pyrex. This lid is dishwasher safe and has saved my boyfriend from my glares of discontent. Buy. This. Lid.

I have two 9"x13" Pyrex dishes, I bought this lid knowing it would only fit one of those two. This lid fit my old Pyrex dish perfectly (model 233). As expected it did not fit my slightly newer dish (model 2233).
