It's accurate and also gives u readings quite quickly. Had seen somewhere that these thermometers measure till -5°C only as opposed to -50°C as claimed. Haven't checked the extreme temperatures and I dont think it will be needed. This thermometer does the job for the daily cooking and stuff. I wanted to check it's accuracy,so I dipped it in water while waiting for it to boil. When the water started boiling it showed 99.5°C. So it's reli accurate.

Temperatures reading is accurate and fast, can be used for measuring temperature of liquids & air.... Battery is somewhat rusted but working fine

In the first test, for normal temperature monitoring, it took 75 seconds to come from 32.5℃ to 35.9℃.In the 2nd test for boiling water, it took 45 seconds to come from 32.1℃ to 94.6℃.Videos are not up loading, so I am uploading snapshots of sequential time gaps of both videos. This is very helpful in some recipes which require accurate temperature.It can show temperature in both celcius and farenhit.You can hold temperature by pressing hold button.It comes with good cute round shape box which holds this.On/Off switch is there but if you forgot to turn off then also it will automatically turn off after some time so don't worry.

The product stopped working after couple of monthsHad used only twice in these two monthsThe cell stopped working after two days of purchase. Replaced the cell, now that the product itself is not working.Wont recommend buying it, as there is no guarantee that these product will work.Suggest spending a little more and buying a good one or may be buy from a local store.
