Alex Evenings Women's Tea Length Embroidered Bodice Mock Dress (Reg and Petite)

I wore this to my son’s wedding. I needed tea length, as dress was semi-formal. This was perfect for mother of the groom - elegant and dressy without being showy. I tried the navy and the light blue. I was disappointed the light blue wasn’t a bit brighter blue - had a bit of gray undertones. But the wedding was in spring and everyone thought the light blue looked better on me, more flattering, and more appropriate for spring. I am 5’3” 115-120 lb. I usually wear size 8 or even 10. But the 6 fit me better. I also ended up with 6P, since I am not tall and the dress is below the knees. The regular 6 was too long. I had no trouble returning the dresses that didn’t fit or the navy I didn’t want. Just be careful when ordering this dress. I initially put my order in, and wondered why the total was so high. Turned out those particular dresses were through a third party and there was a shipping charge. I had to order the dress again to get the right size and color, and those came directly from Amazon, so free shipping as usual. No trouble with returning any of them (or shipping for returns). The dress was lovely and I got many compliments on how nice I looked. I loved the navy, but the light blue was definitely better on me. It’s pretty forgiving too with how it fits at the waist and hips, which I was very happy with. When I look at the pictures, it really was the right choice!

I'm so glad I found this dress. I received many compliments when wearing it. I had been searching for a dress that was dressy enough to be the Mother-of-The-Groom, but not be too formal for a morning wedding. The color of this dress is gorgeous. The sequins are so beautiful, and really bumped this dress up from a traditional dress to a wedding party dress. The length was nice, long enough to hide my Minnesota-white legs. The sleeve length was good because we didn't know if it would be hot or cold for the outdoor wedding. It was comfortable enough to do tasks before the wedding to help set up for the wedding. It looks great in the wedding photos - even after getting rained on! After the wedding, I washed it on delicate cycle and hung it up to dry, & it looks like new. I definitely recommend this dress!

I got this in navy to wear to a wedding where the dress code said “formal or cocktail.” It was flattering, very comfortable, and pretty. I thought it looked way more expensive than its price.

Color is pretty, a bit shinier than I thought but should work. Seems very well made

Mom bought for a wedding ceremony. It fit well and was a beautiful dress. It seemed to be made very well.

The dresses were fine. But one was on a hanger and the hanger was pushed through the bag and it exposed the shoulder of the dress. It was not damaged, but it could have been. Especially if the package was not immediately retrieved.

Unfortunately, I returned it because the length was not right for me, otherwise the size was perfect.

I bought this dress for a wedding. It fits perfectly.

This dress is quite beautiful, well made and fit perfectly. Unfortunately I had to return it because it didn’t suit my body shape (apple, short-waisted, 5’1”).

Trying to find something for my shape and height in a light color (not my choice) for sons engagement party is not an easy task.Amazon has been very helpful and patient...lol. I really had reservations about fitting into this bodice and how it would look. Normally I am a 14w so in this I ordered a 16, there was a mistake in the tagging and I received an 18. Well I'm glad the error happened as this is the one.Very lovely fabric, no itching from the lace and beautifully made. If you have my apple shaped body, order a couple sizes up

Qualität war sehr gut. Chiffon Rock ist sehr schön! Musste ich leider zurückschicken, weil der Rock zu lang war und ich keine Zeit mehr fuer Änderungen hatte. Haette Petit bestellen muessen...

Elegant dress however rated 3 stars as the lace finish on the side inseams were not matching the lace pattern thus did require alterations.
