They really work
I wanted to wait a few weeks before leaving a review, but I can honestly say these scar strips really work. I have seen a visible difference on a surgical scar on my face. Due to the scar being small I don’t bother washing and re using them as a general rule, but I have done on two occasions and they wash really well and still stick when being reused. I tend to use the strips at night and when at home, when I am out and about I also use a scar gel. Maybe the combination of both is helping.I did try cheaper strips before getting these but they were not as good. I will definitely be sticking with theses and re ordering when I run out.I would 100% recommend giving these a try, I am so happy with the appearance of my scar and this is only after 3 weeks, can’t wait to see the results in a few months.

OK.
The adhesion lets them down. 5 x overnight sessions per sheet - max. Scar healing is actually very good.

Good alongside Dermovate for Keloids
I've used a full pack of these and have just repurchased a second. I've been using the silicone sheet on top of my old keloid scars, which I've had since childhood. I've used the sheets on their own and I didn't feel like it did anything. However, on the recommendation of my dermatologist, I've been applying my prescribed dermovate ointment and then using the sheet on top. I usually try and keep it on for 12 - 24 hrs. I remove them when I shower and reapply after. I have seen a marked difference in my scars using this combination. I have several scars, on the smaller flatter scars it has completely flattened it and also the colour has changed from dark red to more of a beige colour. On the bigger and more raised scar, so far they have began to soften have become less tight and itchy. In terms of stickiness, what I've found is that when I first put them on they slide around a bit, especially because I am using an ointment beneath. But after a few hours it dries down and stops sliding. I try to put them on in the morning as otherwise they will just come off when I'm asleep. They are definitely not sticky like a plaster, but I think that is not a realistic expectation because the silicone runs edge to edge and it is meant to be moist, so therefore can't be sticky as well. Maybe it could be improved if the the silicone sheet was surrounded by a thin plaster like edge that is silicone free.

Excellent
I've cut a strip lengthways to use on a shoulder scar. Lasts about 4 weeks with daily showers. I don't avoid getting it wet and it stays put. Time will tell if it will help with my 2 year old, hypertrophic scar but so far it's been less painful.

Perfect for flat scars
I have Asian skin which is prone to scarring & skin injury. I got the sheets to improve my scars following surgery, & tried on a few old scars too. On flat scars it was amazing, I took photos to measure the progress again but I didn’t need them it was visible how my scar had faded closer to my skin colour. However they did nothing for keloids, pitted scars or raised scars. Not a miracle product, those scars are probably best dealt with using professional methods, maybe with a silicon sheet after. The sheets are pricey, I would recommend not taking them off too many times to preserve adhesion. I’ve worn mine continuously for 3-4 weeks, you get the same result as you would through 12 weeks of recommended use of 8-10 hrs a day, if you wear them continuously for 4 weeks. I keep the sheets on while I shower & cover the area with a bikini. Also need to keep the area covered overnight so the strips don’t fall off. Once they lose adhesion that’s it, it’s naive to think you can wash & reuse them. Still way cheaper than scar surgery though, just don’t expect too much for more heavy scarring.

Damn near miracle sheets!
I really like these sheets. I have tried quite a few different brands and these are one of my favourites. They are fairly sturdy and aren't too thick. The picture is after having worn it on my arm overnight, and as you can see, the corners will roll up a bit but that's to be expected. With regards to silicone sheets in general, I cannot recommend them any more for the treatment of scars. Mine were around 6 or 7 years old when I started using them a year or two ago, and were nearly fully healed. They were still very puffy and raised so I thought I would give it a go. They made my scars pink again! I believe this was down to restructuring of scar tissue. If you wear them for too long, the skin becomes slightly irritated (red and itchy), so I would usually wait for that and give myself a day or two off for a break. You will start seeing results within a matter of days, and it feels like they always have more improvement to make, even a year on. They have made such a big difference. Now, my scars are much softer. So although I can't speak from experience, I can imagine they would help a lot with easing the discomfort of tight scars, such as those from a C-section. Certain things can't be fixed- the scar itself will always reflect the light differently so I hope getting a tattoo will help. But before I do that, I need them to be flat and silicone is the way to do it!

Great sheets with a few minor tweaks
Overall this product does what it's supposed to. It sticks to your wound and is not easily removed by clothes. I will, however, recommend using a tubular bandage or rolling it with gauze when wearing long sleeve clothes. This will make it so much easier to clean to reuse it, you won't have to remove all the clothes fibre from there. I will also recommend shaving the area prior to applying it for the same reason. When you clean the sheets make sure it's warm water and that you hold the corners because if they roll up and stick to each other the sheet will be impossible to re-attach. Also, after cleaning it try to hold it while it dries or stick it to the corner of a table to prevent the corners from curling up and sticking to each other.Overall a great product and I will be visiting my dermatologist soon to see if it has helped my scar in any way. PS: I have received a £15 coupon encouraging me to leave a review but this does not affect my opinion at all. If I'm told by my dermatologist that the product is not useful I will come back and edit the comment. As of now, this works fine.
