I use this just like my hair dresser does. To add lift and body when blow drying my do. Brushing my hair in the opposite direction when blow drying wet and then back as it begins to dry gives the best results. Easy to hold onto the handle. Finishing my hair with a round brush gives me just what I need for a great look. My hair is very fine and silky, with a chin length bob cut. My style easily last 2 days, sometimes 3.

I bought a set of curved hairbrushes with boar bristles and it felt SO GOOD. But the boar bristles scratched a little bit and I thought to try a brush without the boar bristles (my normal brush doesn't have boar bristles.) Plus this looked like a good choice for a travel brush because it's smaller. Unfortunately, the rounded tips are not rounded enough and it's hard and scratchy. The curve doesn't cradle my scalp like the larger one with boar bristles either. I'll stick with the other one.
