I was so excited to think these pencils would work! The "wax" is hard and crumbly; when sharpened it may initially pick up a drill, but it drops the drill just as often. The few that I managed to get to the canvas now have white marks on them that simply wiping with a tissue hasn't removed. I'm not sure how to get the white marks off, but I will certainly return these pencils. BUMMER!

Seriously the best Diamond Painting pens I’ve ever used and I’ve had many. They two replaced my $50 custom one I ordered! I love how they bend to make it comfortable to work with. I also suffer from arthritis and I was able to do my diamond painting for three hours without any pain in my wrist or hands because of these outstanding pens.Also, the caps come prefilled with a blue wax and I honestly wish they sold the wax on its own. I’ve been working with the same wax I started with two hours ago and have not refilled since!Overall these pens are great and super cute!

Unfortunately these are useless. ☹ They leave a white paste on every single diamond. I will say that the pencil does pick up the diamond, but very often it will drop it as well. Usually just before you are about to place it onto your canvas. At least that has been my experience. I am thoroughly disappointed, I really wanted these to work. I will be returning mine today.

I wanted this pencil for A diamond painting and I would NOT recommend this product. You cannot apply any pressure because the pencil breaks or leaves a white waxy residue on your painting. I am definitely going to stick with sticky tack. I’m very disappointed because I wanted the convenience of not switching the sticky tack often.

Needed some pressure to pick up the drills which was fine but then when placing the drill on the canvas, the sticky stuff in the pencil crumbled all over the sticky part of the canvas so not only did it not work but made a mess on the glue

DO NOT BUY THIS. IT DOES NOT WORK. WASTE OF MONEY.

I bought this as a gift (at her request). They came smudged with dirt and looked dingy. Within a couple days of use, the paint on the faces and almost worn off. The only reason I gave it any stars is because it does seem to work as intended.

The waxy center of these items shatter and break off unevenly so you aren’t able to pick up dotz/diamonds for placement onto diamond painting pictures. Very disappointed.

I liked the fact that jou dont need to use glue but very soft you have to make sure you don't leave too much glue behind
