I tried out a lot of different tack rags. This one wins. Even the 3m brand was leaving pieces of the cloth itself behind. The are not super tacky, but I think that is a good thing. It doesnt leave residue behind, doesnt fall apart, and removes all the dust. I inspected closely with a headlight. Great buy. This is what I will be using for now on.

I use these for automotive and workshop - they work great for tacking up dust and lint before your paint. The blue color also seems to highlight the contaminants that the pads pick up.

I absolutely love these things. I picked them up for a wood working project to collect debris between paint coats. But the best thing about them is how amazing they were in cleaning up paint dust.I painted some wood using acrylic spray cans in the garage. I had tarped and covered things over really well, but the fine dust from the cans drifted everywhere over time. Well beyond where I thought paint dust could reasonably drift to. And wouldn't you know it, it was green paint, too.I tried vacuuming it. Didn't work. Sweeping? Nope. The dust was giving off a thin sickly green hue on the concrete, and short of moving every stupid item in the packed garage so I could power wash, I was running out of ideas. But then I pulled out one of these tack rags, ran it over the green dust, and it ate right through the mess. Like a cartoon-style swath of missing color, honestly. I was REALLY impressed. And by folding it over and over again, I used one rag to clean a VERY large area.Money well spent. Can't speak highly enough about these things. I bought another box right after because I knew they would find their way into my life again somehow.

I use these for dusting, especially top of cabinets, door, window & picture frames. I use them anywhere I don’t want to use a damp cloth.

I have been using these for years with great consistency.Just the rite amount of sticky and haven’t experienced any residue left behind.

Although advertised for auto body work, these work fine on wood. The pack is convenient, and for light sanding jobs I get several uses out of each one, putting the rag into a plastic bag between jobs. Not as sticky as the traditional cheesecloth and varnish tack rags, it leaves much less residue as well.

I like these because they are individually wrapped and not too heavy. These don’t leave a lot of the ‘stuff’ on my fingers. I have lots of plaster dust that I need to clean up and these have worked well.I have recently refinished hard wood floors that the dust is ruining so I put on a stiffer. It fits perfectly with the width and I cut off the extra length to use by hand. This picked up a lot of the dust and I will be trying it on my walls as well. I would buy these again.
