I think this product is a nice camera to get started out on, for sure. Sure, it can be a hint gimmicky when trying to control the camera, it still has great definition for this cheap of a camera. The only thing to be weary of is the cord is incredibly short. Maybe three feet maximum. I purchased these to mount onto my wall, but there is no way. They have to be plugged in to work, and the cord length makes it difficult. I had a little trouble setting up the wifi, but once I put the hard line into it, I was able to get it working enough to be able to switch it to wifi. Both night vision and daytime definition is great. The speaker isnt very loud, but if close to a baby's crib l, it should work fine. The room would definitely need to be quiet. Overall, good starter camera for short range needs, not good if you want to mount on your walls for monitoring.

For $20, I can't complain too much. I couldn't get the wifi to connect so I have to hard wire it. The power cord is very short. When using the monitoring app, I hear other people who are not in my house talking, so I'm picking up a signal from someone else camera. Also, the microphone feature doesn't work. No sound comes out of the speaker on my camera.This camera is good for just watching. 2 way communication and listening to the room, not so much.UPDATE 3/5: Camera got a firmware upgrade today and now everything works great. 4 stars because it was still hard to set up the wifi connection and I end up having to connect through hardwire. Good camera, clear picture, good price. I recommend for people on a budget looking for a decent camera.

I purchased this to keep an eye on the puppies when they are alone and got and to see which one was ripping up their bed. I had difficulty setting up wifi and getting it to connect but I finally got it using the ethernet cable. I like the no subscription needed and it has the ability for a large size memory card, that's not included. I also like that the app was easy to install on my LG phone.

We have several of these cams to view our pet piggy. They work great for what we need them for.**We disabled them due to security concerns when the camera turned on and moved without our commanding it but they improved the security allowing for private pins since the update I have not had issues (that I know of) with these cameras.

I has this for about 3 months when it quit working. The representative from Amazon was great in helping me but we could never get a response from the seller/manufacturer as to how to fix the problem. So now I am sitting with a dead camera. I have the exact same one that is much older and haven't had any trouble with it. Makes me sad🙁

First of all, I just want to say the seller was VERY responsive and helpful to all my questions/ concerns and needs. I fixed the problem with NO issues after a few emails and instructions from him. The product itself works great, fairly clear and camera is able to rotate, which was great. Night vision also works well. The only downfall is the 2-way talk option that I found volume to be a bit low and not very clear for the other person to hear unless the room is dead silent. Overall, great value for the camera and definitely worth buying!

I use this to watch the dogs throughout the day. The only issue I have is that it makes the camera reload every time. So far it’s worth it

Not necessarily a bad product, but after attempting to connect to WiFi for an hour and confirming that my WiFi connection was 2.4ghz, I could never get it to actually connect. I finally got it connected through a wired connection but that is very inconvenient since I will have to buy an Ethernet cable long enough to station the camera away from the router. Also, if the device gets reset for any reason, I have to reset my router.
