Works for my dog but poor quality
Leash works well for my year old Irish Setter as he has a deep chest and narrow middle. It really helps with the pulling and I can control him without hurting myself or him. Makes walking him much more pleasant. The reduced stars are for quality. The leash was delivered yesterday and have only used the leash on 3 short walks and already the rope has frayed. Cant imagine leash will last the week with daily walking.

Works OK......
I have a 65 lb Pitt bull that pulls like crazy. This harness reduced the pulling only when I yanked on it. Otherwise he continued to pull. I had to yank on that thing every two minutes making my hand very sore. The handle is not designed for heavy pulling but rather loose leash walking. I've tried everything and can't seem to find a harness that works.

Amazing for pulling if you take your dog for long walks on-leash
I have a young Pitbull who has the strength to sprain my wrist and shoulder because she pulls so hard. This is BY FAR the best solution to my dog's pulling that I have found, BAR NONE!The reason I've given it 4 stars instead of 5 is because although it's awesome for people taking their dogs on long walks, people who also take their dog OFF leash (like me) might find it pretty annoying to get on and off their dog all the time. I've taken to just clipping it on and just holding both ends so that I don't constantly have to be wrapping this leash around her while she tries to wiggle out of it...

Meh -- looks attractive, but only works so-so
This leash is attractive and well-made. However it doesn't deliver on its promise to curb leash-pulling by squeezing the dog's waist instead of neck. The pulley action squeezes both. We found the leash only moderately effective. Mostly, it made our dog sit when the leash pulled taught. I'll give it another try or two, but most likely, this leash is destined for the bin of disappointments on a basement shelf.

The concept is great. The way this attaches is awkward
The concept is great. The way this attaches is awkward. ... It needs a stabilizer between collar and loop around the belly.I ordered another one that has that and it really makes a difference. The other one is a flat leash and less comfortable (I think). If only I could combine the two.

Finally a leash that works!
This leash worked really well for our dog. She is pure muscle and could pull me off my feet if she went after something. Dog, cat, leaf...didn't matter she took off after everything. From the first second I put this on her, I could walk her with ease. Seriously I can use two fingers to hold the leash, where as in the past it would take both hands and another person to hold her.I mimicked the leash using our old leash before I bought one. I could tell after one minute it was going to work. She didn’t like it but she didn’t pull. If you want to try it, take your leash and wrap it around your dog the way it is shown in the picture. Either it will work or it won’t. I would do it for long with out the proper leash but it will give you an idea if the pressure on the stomach causes them to not pull. For our dog, it worked and she likes it now.FYI - we have tried several before this and this was the only one to work for our dog. These were the flops...http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004FO0RQ4/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B004FO0RQ4&linkCode=as2&tag=swagg-20&linkId=2UBI56YUQ4T7NEPU--- big waste of money that one. Not for me
So I purchased this on a whim, just to try it out. It is an interesting idea, but not for me. I will note that I hate all dog products that are made of a bungy material as they don't allow for control.Pros:Doesn't seem to bother my dog like a head halterDoesn't choke himCons:Bungy materialI'm not sure it would actually provide control even if it was a non-bungy material.

Only thing that has worked for me
My rescue pit is strong and has always pulled, so much so that he caused me shoulder damage. I have tried about every harness and no pull product out there. While he still pulls it is so much more manageable. I really like this product. It does slide around and it didnt even faze the female pit we have but works great for our male. I would recommend this product as it worked the best for my dog.

Started off great my dog didn't hardly pull at all
Started off great my dog didn't hardly pull at all! But as with every other non pull lead/harness ive tried, once she got used to it she has just started pulling me again.. The lead has started fraying massively and the handle is uncomfortable for me to hold... I will say my dog is a nightmare on a walk but this has disappointed me..
