7th Heaven: Season 9

This was suppose to be the last season of the show, but they extended it. They should not have extended it, as this was the perfect ending to the show. All loose ends are tied up here and it has a grand finale, but with the thought that family problems would continue, just as they do in real life. One thing I found amusing about the show, is that all the plots were driven by "white lies". Every member of the family had their own perspective of what would be best for the other members. While many lessons were learned, the most important one, which never seemed to sink in, was TELL THE TRUTH, regardless of consequences, as it is always the best practice.

I LOVE this series but I’m not sure why they do not have a Play All.... I watch this only in the evening while I’m ready to sleep.. out of 9 seasons this is the only one that doesn’t have the Play All? So no 5 stars!

I loved this season but I will say that as well as with this season eric was not my favorite charactor in this season of the show because he was annoying the whole time I watched it, nagging at one kid or the next. although I loved the fact that they finally gave him a season where he could be less than perfect. and the episode with him,kevin, and the gun..that irriated me. he overdid. and then there's matt, giving simon a lesson on relationships..I found that to be very rich. we all remember his track record from the earlier seasons. Overall, excellent season. the only season of the show that are really bad is really eleven. ten I thought was alittle weak, they kind of went off the course of the show..but it wasn't as bad as people think.

Although each season was not as great as the last this was still one of my favorite shows (behind Gilmore Girls). I did not like to miss an episode & since this show ended i have not found anything i like nearly as much or that i "can't miss"! I thought it was great being able to see Kevin & Lucy go through parent hood for the first time..i kind of have to admit i did not think it was going to last that long,though i was hoping! This is the season where Ruthie really started growing up & she was not as cute & innocent anymore. She kind of became wild (i guess you could say)..maybe it was just me? Anyways, the twins were growing up & were more talkative & saying there own lines rather then repeating each other as much as they did in the beginning. In this season Cecilia,Chandler,Roxanne are all gone & it kind of goes back to focusing on the family with out as many extra characters ( which i have to admit i really never cared for). I liked when they showed the occasional friend or neighbor but focused mainly on the Camden's. Matt returned for alot of episodes this season to (not alot alot but alot more compared to what his appearances where before,few and far between). Sarah is in a few episodes returning as Matt's wife & thankfully they have worked out all there problems. Carlos (mary's husband) & their son Charles miguel appear occasioanlly.I also was a little disapointed mary did not return for any of the episodes..they just talked to her on the "phone" occasionally. The only extra chaacters i can recall are Mac (martin's friend)& Simon's girlfriend briefly, Georgia. There was alot of serious parts & humerous parts too. Overall another great season with the camden's.I have learned that the DVD's though keep getting made more & more poorly with poorly edited seasons that even some one new to 7th heaven would notice. I wish they would show episodes in their entirety but having it on DVD at all is GREAT! I would rate this season a 7/10. There were a few flaws but over all it was great. I also priced the DVD out many places & got the best deal at Amazon like always..i also ordered it tonight & am getting hopefully (fingers crossed) tomorrow!!!!! :)A MUST BUY for you diehard 7th heaven fans everywhere..a great addition to the 7th heaven series collection!EDIT- they changed a lot of song choices due to copy right issues. A song i thought fit perfect with the scene it was played in was John Mayer "Daughters" when kevin fell asleep with Savannah in his arms & Lucy is laying next to them smiling & Annie & Eric,Sam,David,Martin,Ruthie & Happy are all standing in the door way & they played daughters. That was my favorite moment & they changed the song!! I am not sure of the new song, but i had heard that songs were changed but i did not really care as i had not noticed until now..i was a little disappointed.

Absolutely LOVE this series! It talks about all the hard topics that may/may not come up in your kids lives. But the lessons that are soo important to teach in a way you may not have been able to convey.

I loved this dvd, it is so wholesome and shows family life brilliantly. The family are so believable. Wish it hadn't ended.
