UGREEN Cat 7: Because Your WiFi Was Clearly Holding You Back
Got this UGREEN Cat 7 Ethernet cable because apparently, my WiFi was too busy buffering to get anything done. At 6 feet long and boasting a blazing 10Gbps speed, this cable basically slapped my internet into the 21st century. And the best part? It’s made of 100% pure copper — because, you know, anything less and your data might just evaporate into the void. None of that cheap aluminum nonsense here. This cable means business.Plugging it in felt like upgrading from a tricycle to a rocket ship. Suddenly, downloads fly, streaming doesn’t stutter, and even my online gaming friends stopped accusing me of lagging.Only downside? At 6 feet, it’s not long enough to roam the whole house—but hey, if you want to run around yelling “Faster internet!” this cable won’t stop you.If you’re tired of WiFi drama and want your Netflix binge to be uninterrupted, UGREEN Cat 7 is your new best friend. Just don’t blame me if you get spoiled by the speed and start complaining about everything else.

Great cable for a great price! Highly recommend!
This Cat7 cable is awesome! Flat, easy to run, length is perfect for the install, the fit and finish is top-notch compared to all the cheap cables. It absolutely runs top speed and very well built. I am not sure of color options, but I got the black for my setup. Connectivity is tactile and instantly connects.

Works great
Works great! I like the flexibility it has over traditional Ethernet design. Feels like it's sturdy enough even though it's flat. Provided the speeds as stated

Functionality was the same after changing cord.

I opened the flat one up and it's individually shielded
I'm giving the flat cable a 5 but with reservations. It arrived in a bag that didn't mention anything about Cat7. No markings whatsoever, it just called it a patch cord without specifying what type. The more I look into cat types, the more I'm starting to understand that there may be no 'real' cat7 yet. I think it's just an agreed upon future standard that hasn't quite been implemented yet, but people are selling nonetheless. Now, since I'm actually using this 'cat7' cable for something else, I needed to cut off the connectors anyway which allowed me to verify that each twisted pair is in fact individually shielded with foil in accordance with what I understand cat7 calls for. In addition to the separate shielding of each twisted pair, a 3rd bare 'drain wire' is included with each pair. Kinda weird, I wasn't expecting that, but it's a good thing for my application, giving me 4 individually shielded 3 wire groups for a total of 12 wires. 1 thing I noticed that seemed 'off', was that all the pairs had a solid white wire, as opposed to a matching-ish colored wire. So one pair was blue/solid-white/unshielded-drain, the next is green/solid-white/unshielded-drain, and so on. I tested the solid whites for continuity and they are separate, just the same color, which again is just odd, but not necessarily a problem. Also, to my untrained hobbyist eye, the actual metal wire when stripped seemed much smaller and less robust than a monoprice cat7 cable I happened to have on my desk also dissected. So there ya go. Overall I'm giving it 5 stars because I personally dissected it and it SEEMS to be fairly legitimate with shielding and continuity. I'm just a hobbyist though who tears apart cables so I'm not anything close to an authority on specifications.

Sturdy and Efficient With My Centurylink
I am REALLY pleased with this ethernet cord. It arrived in the mail yesterday, and I wasted no time in hooking it up to my modem and computer. FINALLY--I have no interruptions. While it is true I used my older cords: one that came with the modem and the other, an ethernet cord I purchased at a local office supply business--both cords were ages old. The tiny plastic "holder" on the tips of each cord, broke. As I result, I was fighting with my modem all day with recharging issues. I got the five foot length on this cord, and it is perfect. My modem is beside me, and I hold my computer on my lap while working in my easy chair. 5 feet is a perfect length. Another feature I like is that the cord is flat. There will be no more twisting and tangling with the cord. And the tips are protected. Should I travel with my computer, this cord came with protective caps on each end, preventing the "securing" pieces on the ends from breaking, snapping or laying flat. That's what happened with my old cords. So I am pleased--extremely pleased because I was about to throw my computer--cord and all through the front window! Now I can sit in my chair peacefully and not be fighting with the ethernet cord.

Very flexible and durable.
Very nice . Being flat fits very well going around corners, and under carpet.
