I was looking for a solution for the water to run off somewhere else besides the side of my house and this was IT! I can maneuver it anywhere. I love it , and easy to store.

Once this hose is connected to the pool filter it is there until time to replace it. My pool, filter and hose are in the sun during all of the daylight hours, so the backwash hose takes a beating. This means it deteriorates faster than those having some shade time. I usually get 2 years use and then it has to be replaced. I have tried rolling it up after a backwash and tucking it as close to the filter for some shade and it helps some. This becomes a tedious chore which turns into I just stack it by piling it upon itself back and forth. It is worthy of finding some way to protect it so that it lasts longer. It still is the best hose for its purpose and taking some time to preserve it in the outdoor atmosphere.

I got this in a pinch to transfer water out of my pool, but it developed pinhole leaks along the seam immediately. Luckily it didn't burst, but I felt like I couldn't leave it unattended
