Very challenging to fill up
This is a pretty small container (my fault for not looking at size well enough). It's okay for larger chickens but you'll be filling it up frequently so you'd probably only want to use this for chicks.I gave it 3 stars because it is terribly challenging to get the bowl (green part) to attach to the container (white part). I've had to fuss with it every time which is incredibly challenging because you can't see what you're doing unless you lift it above your head (dirty water drips on your head. yay.) or just flip it over and hope for the best (which can then result in water splashing out).Would not buy this one again.

Not a good choice
This things is super small which I admit I was kinda aware of but it’s also flimsy and the green tray part on the bottom was all warped and wouldn’t hold its shape making it a huge pain to connect to the white water part. My chickens kept knocking it over it was a pretty big waste of time to try and use

This is a great waterer
I had bought a feeder/water set previous but I was in need of another waterer so I bought this one. I love that it only has a small hole for the water to come out. It keeps it filled but not so fast as others I have used. The bottom that holds the water is deeper than most so that's another plus. I would buy this one again if I'm ever in need of another waterer.

So far so good
All in all it is a bit small but it will do for our 3 free range chickens that we have. It came in a separate box than the small feeder we purchased which in all honesty, was a waste of another box when they both could of easily fit into the same box. Product did come undamaged and in perfect condition. With that being said for the price the material seems durable, since we just received this today we shall see how well it holds up.

Ok, issue with it filling the basin.
It's ok for how much it cost. I had an issue with the water refilling the basin. The original hole was so small that the water didn't trickle out. I had to make the hole considerably bigger to get even a mild trickle. But it filled up eventually, even if it's really slowly. I won't be buying this again but it's ok for my 6 chicks for the time being.

Flimsy, Won't last beyond getting chicks to pullets.
Is "a piece of junk" an uncharitable comment? I've had chickens for years and used a similar model by another manufacturer. My daughter bought this replacement after the other one cracked from 5 years in the Arizona sun. She "economized." It is too small for six or more adult chickens without constant refilling, and the plastic material is so much thinner. Might work with chicks for six months, but that's it. The larger one will work, too, and will last years. Save money by paying more for ONE.

Great for raising a few chicks indoors
This waterer is perfect for raising a few chicks indoors. Small enough to fit in brooder box and holds just the right amount. We used it for raising 3 chicks, and they are now happy, healthy full-grown chickens. They're now outside with a larger waterer, and we're saving this for next time we raise chicks.

I have some happy adolescent chicks now
I have some happy adolescent chicks now! They recently hit a growth spurt and I was using the ones with the little mason jars. They started running out of water twice a day, it looks like this one is actually going to last them more than 24 hours now. I think they're the perfect size just before graduating them to the full gallon, then bigger as I get more chicks. The plastic is a little thin, but not flimsy. The handle is pretty sturdy, perfect for hanging.

Trop petit
Beaucoup trop petit. Ne convient même pas pour 1 seule poule.
