I got this for jewelry making. Wire wrapping specifically. I found that there's a learning curve to the Beadalon Economy Wire Twister. You have to keep a close eye on the wire to assure that you get a nice even twist the full length of the wire.It took me about three tries to get the look I was aiming for. I spent most of my time getting the wires attached to the Beadalon Economy Wire Twister. Once I had it all set up , the twisting went pretty quick. The cranking action was very smooth and there was no resistance from the wire at all. The more I use it, the easier it was to use and set up. It just requires patience. I'm really glad I ordered the Beadalon Economy Wire Twister. It's a great addition to my work bench, and it adds a whole new dimension to my wire wrapping. I am 100% satisfied with the Beadalon Economy Wire Twister and I know I'll get a lot of good use out of it.

Works okay, but I had to use my pin vise to open al the holes to fit 20 gauge wire. That too a while, but once done, it works okay. Make sure you have a pin vise though....
