Size:8 Inch Sandpaper is an abrasive material that is often used at construction sites or furniture workshops. You can imagine it as plane having several teeth which rub on the surface of woods, metals, plastics or even glass. Its function and kind depend on how many “teeth” or grits per square inch the sandpaper has. Few teeth or grit per square inch mean rough sandpapers, while many teeth or many grit per square inch are fine sandpapers.Sandpapers are so useful that they are, in fact, needed in our own homes too. Aluminum oxide is the most common abrasive in woodworking sandpaper. It works well on a number of materials, including bare wood, painted surfaces, and metal. In its most basic form, this furnace-produced mineral does not fracture easily. Instead, it tends to wear down until it becomes too dull to cut efficiently. More expensive forms are friable or semifriable. A number of companies offer more than one grade of aluminum oxide in sandpaper. Very Nice Sanding Disks at a Fair Price
I purchased these to sand/refinish old oak floors...to remove old varnish. These worked very well with my orbital floor sander at slower speeds. 3 sheets completely sanded a large 15 x 20 room. 3rd sheet is still usable, however adhesive is a bit worn. Adhesive could be a bit stronger, but not too bad, overall. Note, the size is 11 3/4", in case that makes a difference to you. It was not an issue for me.Overall, I am very pleased with these and you can't beat the price. I would purchase again and recommend.

Good cost effective sand paper.
They adhere nicely, arrived quickly, and are very cost effective. The grit has some pretty quick loss but seems to keep a base that continues to cut. Doesn’t compare to Norton paper but for occasional use just fine.

Old stock sanding disc assortment
After inspecting the sanding discs, we discovered that these were obviously 'Old Stock'! Over 2/3's of them have no adhesive, or the adhesive has dried out completely. Unable to use them with power sander, using them by hand shows they are inferior and 'load up' and have to be discarded after a few minutes. Good thing there are several in the pack!?!

Well finished and good quality and AMAZINGLY do not wear much!
Low cost so I thought,well I'll try them and good thing I did,they last longer than the "brand name" discs I usually buy,which was a pleasent surprise.I recommend these discs.

Great product for a great price.
This is the first time using a 12" disc sander, so there was a small learning curve as to putting on and taking off the sandpaper. After that was taken care of, the sandpaper worked as expected with no issues. I use the sander for sanding the handles of the knives I make. The price of these is so much better than other sellers, which also makes these attractive to buy. I'll be purchasing more down the road when I need some.

Disc appears to be very good so far but was very disappointed when they arrived here completely open sender should be packing item better.

Cleaned the sanding plate thoroughly first, the sanding disc adhered well and worked superbly.
