Delivery/service is excellent. The product is fantastic.Pro Tip: The glass can be "dusty" from the packaging and shipping process. I would highly advise taking the extra step to place in plastic bucket or bin with a water and windex solution. Then placing on a towel in the sun to dry. This greatly enhanced the "sparkle" of the glass for us.

I tried it first with the logs and then without. What.a difference it made removing the logs! Now the fire dances so pretty on the glass. I also put in new sand and you can really feel the heat now! Nice product. Thanks for the tip from other reviewers about washing it first. Definitely dusty! Very pretty color combination. Very happy with my purchase!

Love this fire glass, get so many compliments. It has a great color to it, holds heat well. Came bagged in individual colors which requires you to mix it. Wear gloves as there are some sharper edges. I ordered 30 lbs for our round fire pit. Mixed it 1/3 of bag at s time to get even coloring throughout. Gives great sparkle when lit or in sunshine. Replaced lava rocks that came with pit

Beautiful fire glass! I was especially excited to find that the colors were separated, so it was perfect for my use of them. It was expensive for me since I used them for a filler, but if they stand up to the heat of a fireplace then I 100% understand the pricing. I will eventually buy more for our electric fireplace I loved them so much. I wanted to make sure I had a filler that would sparkle and these fit the bill! When the gold and silver colored pieces get mixed together it is very hard to tell the difference, but separated I think the gold color really stands out.

Product is as described, but note that each color comes in individual bags. I would recommend pouring all bags into a bucket and stirring (with good gloves since this is broken glass!) until the mix is the consistency in color you desire. This will also give you a chance to wash the glass before placing onto gas grate which will also enhance the brightness of color when the gas fire is burning.

I'm happy with this fire glass! I followed Stanbroil's calculations when estimating how much fire glass to buy. It's pretty accurate, and I'm glad they had that in their description. I knew I wanted some blue, but didn't want it to be overpowering. The combo of aqua blue, platinum, and copper was perfect for me. Furthermore, each color comes in separate plastic bags in case you want to customize your color blend a little. It's a good idea to clean the rocks first as there is some dust and finer glass shards. Some recommend a strainer, but I didn't want to waste the ones we had for the kitchen (if you end up doing this, do not use that strainer for cooking anymore). Instead I drilled holes into the bottom of a gallon milk jug and then cut the top open. I placed my glass in the jug and washed it with a hose over a plastic basin. All the dust and finer glass pieces filtered into the basin and the glass shined after the wash. Most of the pieces were good 1/2" sizes. Some were larger and some were smaller, but I think this variance will be common with most fire glass. I wore rubber gloves the whole time I was working with the glass. Hope this helps!

I have these in an outdoor fire[it. I installed these in basement as i wanted a fire, but did not want to carry down wood all the time. They make a great presentation. The ones I have outside have been there over 15 years, I really enjoy the look. I keep a cover over the outside it and also don't allow any cooking etc over them. They are expensive for what you get, but can last a lifetime. Keeping that in mind makes it a better value for the money, They are also a lot less money now than they were years ago as more vendors have them.

The ten lb bag is made up of the exact colors depicted: black, gold, gray. I was under the impression the bag was going to be “mixed” as displayed in the picture. It comes nicely packaged in three separate columns of color. You can either mix yourself or use colors as you prefer. I was just a bit surprised when I saw the separate columns, so beware! Glass is lovely and pieces are 1/2”; not broken chips!

The media could not be loaded.  So glad I purchased this fire glass. It sparkles in both daylight and firelight. It’s gorgeous. Bought 5 bags for a 20x20 opening 2 inches deep but when my fire table arrived, the actual put was just 18x18 square and only needed 3 bags. Sold the other two bags easily but could have returned them. Definitely recommend a quick rinse to increase sparkle!

The media could not be loaded.  I like how the colours came in Separate bags.. I mixed mine with just a little of the gold colour. I bought 2 packs, and I have 1 full colour and a half a colour left over for a 16x16x2 inch fire bowl... looks so much better than the lava rocks and what a great price :)

Onyx black, platinum and gold looks amazing and really reflects the light. My fire pit came with lava rock and I used some of it on the bottom so I only bought two packs of the glass and you can’t see the lava rock at all. I had to thin it out a bit around the burner so the flame could come through. I love the colour stones I choose, my fire pit is black and my furniture is black with neutral coloured cushions and these stones really compliment them. I ordered the half inch because that’s what was recommended for my fire pit.

Bought these regardless of the mixed reviews.They are absolutely beautiful, & two packs was more than enough. But after one fire, lots of them are covered in black soot. Not sure how long they will last 👎🏽

1st off, use gloves as this can be Very sharp. I replaced lava rock and am impressed by the beauty of the flame (natural gas fire that burns a white/purple) and the increased heat retention. Definitely worth the money.
