We are making a move to reduce our plastic. We were having issues with smell and fruit flies and realised we didnt have enough brown waste in our regular compost cycle. These bags are sturdy even when moist from general kitchen compost and a big enough size to fold over the top after being filled. Will defo repurchase

These are great sturdy bags that compost down well. I use them to collect up my food scraps and they don’t leak, as they have a good thickness to them.They do break down too, recommended them to family too as so many of the plastic “bio degradable” bags do not bio degrade on a household compost and these do.

I found these bags really easy to tear and not durable for holding my food waste which due to fruit and veg peelings and tea bag is often moist. I purchased these because the price was reasonable but will not be buying these again. I will be sticking to my normal Alina bags.

Stored this years potatoes in them. For size: if you stand 4 2l bottles in them there full. You can get about 2k of potatoes in each bag with the top rolled down.Really sturdy and well made.

Average performance . The minute they get damp/wet the bottom falls out . Unfortunately my local authority insists we use compostable bags such as this .

I wanted an alternative to plastic to line my waste paper baskets but I couldn’t find any paper bags big enough. Apart from the size (I ordered them knowing they were too small) I was pleased with these as they are sturdy and well made. The heavy duty paper doesn’t disintegrate with apple cores or orange peel and the bags don’t flop: they stay open on their own.

Sadly the bottoms regularly fall out of these bags despite putting a piece of newspaper inside still falls through - got loads to use up!

Great for a range of uses where we used to use plastic bags (e.g. storing stuff in the garage). Good quality, strong bags.
