This 'baby mobile' is actually just a few soft balls, like cotton wool balls, tied flimsily by thin thread onto the bamboo frame. They are not tied tightly and could very easily fall off - and are the perfect size and shape for the newborn to choke on. This should not hang over a cot under any circumstances.
