Great crops and rabbit proof
Very happy with the Vegepod. It was easy to assemble and set up (lots of useful videos on You Tube which helped). I planted only a small amount of seeds initially, mainly salad type vegetables, and they have grown really well. I hadn’t attempted to grow vegetables for years as there are too many rabbits around to make it worth the effort normally. The Vegepod gives good protection from them and also from other wildlife. The height makes for comfortable working - I got the wheeled stand which also allows for easy movement. Now I am rediscovering the enjoyment of home grown vegetables I will be growing more - will probably need second Vegepod at some stage! Customer service has been great also.

Bought second one - they are so good!
This is the second one I have ordered because I am staggered (as a complete novice) how fast my salad veggies have grown from tiny seeds in just a matter of weeks!! This pod is perfect - the only problem - I ran out of space! At this time of pandemic, I ordered it and got a message it would arrive in 1-2 weeks (pretty standard). To my complete surprise, less than 48 hours later, it was delivered!! Bravo!! Thank you so much. The base is very heavy hence 3 stars for easy to assemble, it's difficult to lift but once it is erected, it's not going to move about anywhere.

Brilliant
This is a brilliant bit of kit. The design is so clever and easy to put together. It is sturdy and protects the plants really well. The built in sprinkler makes it really easy to water. Superb!

A bit expensive but fun
Not an object of beauty but I think improved by making a wood stand. Since the pod is basically a black plastic trough it is a shame it could not have been made in one piece as it comes in many sections that have to be bolted together. Fortuneately the bolts are plastic so they won't rust but do be careful not to over-tighten them as it did causing one of them to snap. The sprinkle works quite well although the ends of the bed get less water than the centre. Stretching the cover over the frame was a bit of a struggle but I got there in the end. It's early to say but I suspect it will prove to be an effective way to grow vegetables and I am getting a lot of pleasure in seeing them grow.

It's great
We are delighted with the product it is in full use with salad crops. We would have no hesitation in recommending a vegi pod to others. It is also giving us a great deal of pleasure.

Veg pod
Very sturdy Fixing the irrigation system so that the water sprays over the plants evenly can be a little fiddly

Recommended for all year growing - suitable for Amateur and Professional alike
We bought 2 of the large size Vegepods last year and have been using them as a test bed for some of our gardening products through last Autumn/ Winter 2018, Spring 2019 and now Summer. Installation is easy but study the instructions and even watch the video and easiest with 2 people, but OK one person. BUY/USE the winter cover as we grew cabbage and garlic all through winter when temperatures dropped to -5C! Also very useful in spring when you plant and plants are tender and will protect from a cold wind and frost damage!! We have intensively grown (with great results) the following Cabbage, Garlic, Peas, Spring Onions, Aubergine, Tomatoes, Swiss Chard, Strawberries (best tasting ever!) , Endami, Courgette, dwarf beans, lettuce. One of the tests we wanted to run was how much we could cram plants into the vegepod and we have been pleasantly surprised how well it has coped and how much it has yielded. We haven't used the spray bar as hose pipe not feasible for where we are sited but we think it is a great idea, but watering can worked just fine. Use a good/high quality compost and perhaps add 10% more than the recommended amount as it will compact, if you are spending good money on the Vegepod don't skimp on the quality of the compost is our advice. If using winter cover watch out for hot spring days as it can get very hot, so you need to lift the lid to avoid heat stress. Work out where you are going to site the Vegepod first as when it is full of compost it is heavy, so move when it's empty :-) Very nice to be able to plant and tend at waist height rather than kneeling and bending. In very high winds make sure the lid is firmly closed and perhaps add some extra method to keep the lid in place. We just kept the same compost from September 2018 and fed appropriately with our Seafeed Xtra Fertiliser and manged to get 2-3 crops......and will continue to use through 2020. Not had any slug or snail damage, but you will get aphid damage if the top is left off/open for long periods. All in all we really like this product and have recommended to others and we will be using extensively next year, in fact we are already planning what to plant to grow through Autumn and winter!! Not cheap, but then again you are buying a quality and innovative product.

This is a very well made raised garden bed. I ordered the small size along with the small frame. It is just the right size for growing small vegetables and leafy greens on a porch or patio. The stand is very sturdy and comes with casters. Both items were easy to assemble. I am very satisfied with these items from Vegepod.

I received one of these VEGEPOD planters from my son and daughter-in-law last Christmas a few years ago. I have several other planters made out of wood but they do not last very many years without rotting. This VEGEPOD has lasted a few years now and not only is very sturdy but keeps my chickens out from eating my fruits & veggies. When it is very hot, I can just put to cover over it with one easy move and it keeps all of my veggies and fruits from scorching my plants from the sun. The VEGEPOD SERVICE is the very best of the best in service as well. They have attended to any questions and have delivered a part I needed instantly. I started out with one then I bought 3 more and I just bought 4 more so I can have a several varieties of fruits/veggies. I LOVE MY VEGEPODS and I would buy more BUT "8 IS ENOUGH" for now. I am as dumb as a door knob when it comes to putting things together & I was able to put these together without my husband's help, which is truly a miracle. The quality of material is thick and sturdy and I think you will LOVE one of these as well. I usually do not give reviews BUT this company is worth every bit of my time to just give a review and to thank them for making this VEGEPOD available to all of us so we too can enjoy gardening and foods that are good for us and we can control growing our own organic food in them. Try one, you will love it!

Most of the seedlings I’ve planted in it are doing good, and it’s doing a nice job protecting them from heavy rain, wind, pests, etc. Seems like sturdy material

I bought just the small one because we live in a mobile home and have small space. The pod was easy to assemble, the only problem I had was placing the small clips that hold the misting cover onto the pod, but a quick consult with a Youtube video and I was all set! It took two bags of garden soil from Lowes to completely fill it. Since this is Arizona, and now is not really a great growing time, I put some seeds in, they sprouted rather quickly, but have not seems to be getting any bigger, probably because of heat stress. I have high hopes for my garden pod, as soon as September hits us here in the desert. A great item, and not too heavy for us (two people in our 70s) to move it even after it was filled with soil. I will buy the tomato pod from same company next month, when I can start a tomato plant here in Tucson, AZ.

Wife wanted. Wife got. The deal was supposed to be that SHE would do the assembling. After 30 minutes, she had some issues and I stepped in to help. She isn't new about assembling things, and this wasn't really hard, but it did frustrate her. For overall use, she really liked it. Definitely 5* there. BUT, the price for it just doesn't make me see it as a good value. Keeps me from giving it an overall 5*. She used it all summer...along with the stand and liked it. But, she had to buy another, cheaper, cheaper version from Costco AND also use a few planting pots as this didn't really have a lot of room. She had strawberries planted in this one and no room for other plants/herbs.
