This is the leader's guide to the Beth Moore Bible Study Series Breaking Free. It is formated with each participant doing a workbook lesson each week. When the group gets together, they discuss the lesson in small groups. They then come together to watch the DVD session as Beth Moore talks about the topic of which the lesson is on. She is very easy to listen to and filled with so much insight and information. It is a study on breaking free from the things in our lives from the past and in the present that keep us bound. It talks on forgiveness, self worth, loss, abuse to name a few. The ladies who did this study really enjoyed it. Give it a try.

I was ith my cousin in California and she had the workbook. She shaed it with me. Her woman's group was working in it. I want to shae it with ny woman's group in Iowa. I am anxious to purchase the workbook not only for the group but for myself. It makes you think, how can i improve my life if I don't fully understand where i'm coming from.

I'm giving the Guide a 5, because it is probably great and I do not want to skew the number of stars in a backward direction. I expected this to be similar to a teacher's edition of a book, where all the student text is there, but there are extra notes for the teacher. The description doesn't mention anything to the contrary, it makes it sound like a book.That is why I am putting this in writing for some other naive people, hoping that they won't make my error. Am returning the Guide for the book.

Beth Moore is a genuine little Texas lady who spares no punches. She will tell you how it is. I am loving this study because it gets so real with what a Christian person truly is. So many of us "play at church and Bible Study" but it isn't OUR LIFE. This study teaches us to rid ourselves of those things that encumber us from being family close to our Father God. This study changed my life. I learned so much from it and was able to make huge changes in my life to be a better mom, friend and person.

Where the Bible study "Breaking Free" is outstanding, the actual leader guide is almost unnecessary unless you don't feel confident leading small groups. I think everything you need is found in the DVDs and workbook.

I wanted the book not the study guide .

Wasn't helpful. I was hoping for a tool to help me lead discussion on this Bible study and I didn't find it helpful.
