We have a few different brands of LED strips in our house - kids bedrooms, playroom, kitchen - and the quality of these these LE Smart LED Strips Lights is probably the best of them all.Integration with the Smart Life app - and then the Echo and Google devices - is easy and always something I look for as I'm getting tired of installing yet more 'smart' apps to my phone for each new device. I try to always use Smart Life compatible devices where I can, so I can keep everything in one place, but this isn't always possible. Just about every colour and vibrancy is possible with adjustable brightness. Although most Pinks display closer to white - so a purple is often needed to be selected if a pinkish colour is wanted.The adhesive strips on the on the back are better than most. The backing paper/plastic comes off very easily and the adhesion you get is really great. Once in place, these do not move or slowly peel away from the wall or ceiling.But the stand out difference with these strips is the cover on the top surface. Most of these strips come 'unfinished' with the LEDs sitting proud of the strips. These LE strips have a nice smooth coating of a completely clear, rubber-like coating covering all of the components and LEDS on the strip, which give it a much nicer appearance and tactile feel than other strips I have.Where this falls short of some of the other strips we have, is this one doesn't come with its own dedicated 'physical' remote. Although this might be seen as a plus by some, as that's the point of a smart device. But not all features and colours are easily discovered/displayed by voice command, and for my young kids without smartphones and the app it's often hard to get the lights to do exactly what they want - an issue we don't have with the other strips that also came with a small remote control.

This review is about the Lepro 5m RGB strip lights and focuses on the installation and communication with the corresponding app from the company. The lights themselves have a great brightness and colour range. I choose these lights for the 24w brightness, compared to only 12w from other suppliers. And I am happy I did that as white is pure white and the other colours are strong.But installation was difficult and time consuming. It started by my mistake to install the lights before I registered. It is mentioned in the manual but I just read that too late. For the next hour I followed the instructions in the app to connect to an iPhone with the latest iOS version and just only ever managed to get to the last step but never to connection. Of course , due to my mistake I was not close to the router for registration- but- I was directly next to a 2.4 GHz WiFi power line device. So it should work. Still I was close to ripping the strips off again and carry them down to the router. But then I tried an old iPAD with iOS 12 installed AND I followed the sequence of steps in the manual rather than in the app: in particular, I starte the first fast blinking of the strip lights (reset) in the EZ mode BEFORE I used the app - and it worked immediately, without the router nearby. As iPhone and iPad are registered to the same Lepro account - a few hours later the device was also available and working through the iPhone! So now I do not know whether it was the old iOS that helped or to reset the strip lights before starting to connect the app. But I hope this helps someone - and that the lights last long :). Something in the procedure has to be better tested and the instructions in the app versus manual have to be the same.

So I bought one of these over a year ago for my daughter's play room and it's worked well and I have never had an issue with it so I bought another for my bedroom. I don't normally leave reviews but I have to say I'm impressed lampux have improved the product it's now one strip instead of 5 1m parts you connect togther. The app is the same which is super easy to connect to Alexa and your wifi. 100% recommend one of these instead of a way too expensive Phillips hue which also needs its own bridge btw. I will be buying from them again !!!

Decent length. Adhesive was a bit poor in some places but overall good enough to serve its purpose. Brightness is really good. App is easy to use. Connecting them can be a bit tricky but I've found this with several other wireless products.All integrates into Alexa.

The strip itself seems to be of good quality. However, the controller has multiple issues:- Can only connect to 2.4GHz networks, not 5GHz- The button on the controller can power the lights on and cycle through some modes, but cannot switch the strip off- The biggest issue is that the wireless range of the controller is terrible. just putting it behind a piece of wood makes it lose the signal. Woeful.

The colors are very vibrant and the dedicated white LEDs are also very bright. Works seamlessly with Alexa and through the app, already bought a second one as a gift

Remote control and brightness were fab, would’ve been great however the lights fell down within 2 weeks of using the product. I didn’t alter or change them, idk if it was just to wind etc but they’re not unusable
