Window Pane Media Cabinet - Cherry - Transitional Design, Brown Glass and Wood - Ideal for Home Office, Living Room (MS1073)

I love the design of this cabinet that holds my CD and mug collection. The cabinet is quite shallow, which is what I needed, but there is still plenty of space to put items in without it feeling too tight. Assembly wasn't difficult. My friend did attach the cabinet to the wall because we didn't want it to fall over when I opened both doors to choose a CD. I'm so glad I bought the cabinet because of the design, the pretty wood finish, the glass doors, and the display area that allows items to be seen inside. The price seems quite reasonable for such a well-made cabinet.

While the instructions weren't the best, it took me less than an hour to put it together. This bookcase was a great buy, and if they had a larger version, I'd buy it. It's a perfect corner cabinet, looks beautiful, and is sturdy. I was surprised when I opened up the box and took the pieces out. Almost all pieces are solid wood, not veneered pressed fiberboard. I'll be purchasing another one to make a matching set for the corners of my living room. The picture doesn't pick up the beautiful cherrywood color.

This is a beautiful solid piece of furniture that holds your DVD’s dust free! This is the second one we have purchased because we liked the first one so much. The only drawback is there are barely any instructions and not the least bit helpful. If you are not use to putting furniture together, this is not the piece to start with, lol. Would still purchase again.

I was concerned before I ordered this cabinet because of some of the negative reviews I read. But I took a chance and ordered it anyway and I am so happy that I did. This cabinet looks REALLY good and has excellent fit and finish and I am very particular about my furniture. I read some of the reviews that said the holes didn't align and things didn't fit correctly, etc. I had ZERO problems with the holes aligning and everything fit perfectly. In fact, I am so happy with this I am going to order another one immediately after I post this because I have more than 330 CDs and want another cabinet that matches this one. One minor thing to be aware of is that it does take some time to put it together. I am pretty handy and didn't have any issues putting it together but it did take me a couple of hours to do so. But again, it is well worth it because the finished product looks fantastic. The instructions were very helpful and all the parts matched up perfectly with the instructions. I couldn't be happier with this cabinet for what I consider to be a very reasonable price.

I wanted to have somewhere to store some old books that was a little more protected than an open bookcase. This cabinet is great for that. It's the perfect size, the doors and handles look quite fancy and all the hardware matches--even the clips that hold the adjustable shelves in place are dark bronze, instead of the cheap-looking plastic ones that come with most bookcases. It also wasn't too hard to put together, only took about an hour to assemble it by myself. The cabinet is quite shallow (9" outside depth, 7" inside depth) which is perfect for most paperbacks, CDs, or DVDs. The issue with the depth is that you NEED to anchor the cabinet in place, because simply having the doors open is enough to unbalance it and make it try to tip forward. This is the only reason I gave the cabinet four stars instead of five; I love it, it's otherwise quite sturdy and looks great, and the cherry finish matches my other furniture perfectly, but I do think that a piece of furniture should be able to function normally without being so imbalanced that it falls over every single time you open it unless you physically hold it upright or screw it to the wall. If you live somewhere like my last apartment, where I wasn't allowed to put any screws or nails into the walls, you'll have to get a little creative. Three of the shelves (top, middle, and bottom) are screwed into place and don't move. It's only the two between them that are adjustable. This helps make the whole cabinet more stable, but it does mean that while you can adjust the adjustable shelves to be up to 10" high, or remove them completely and get a full 15" for the shelf below, the topmost and bottommost levels will always only be about 6" high. If you have smaller knicknacks you want to store there, or don't mind storing some books/DVD cases horizontally on the shorter shelves, it isn't really an issue at all.

I am well satisfied with the product. For the money, it looks classy and holds a large number of DVDs. The directions for assembly are well laid out, but some spaces that screws are needed are such a tight fit that it's hard to screw in the screws. Overall, however, I am pleased. It's a lovely piece of furniture that looks more expensive than it is.

I got a pair of these to replace a pair of cases I use to hold Blu Ray discs. There are two adjustable shelves and the spacing of the fixed shelves, greatly limits the usefulness. The assembly is interesting... you should loosely fit everything together and then tighten. If you put a piece in place and tighten it before you placed the others, you will have to remove the tightened piece... I can work though the assembly issues [it only took about 45 minutes... even with the false starts. Be aware, :D the back is a butterfly and needs to be opened to fill the space [after a few minutes of looking! :D]. Really, the only knock is the inability [so far!] to change the position of some of the shelves. I have a LOT of blue ray and dvds and need a lot of space to store them. If I could I would rate these at 3.5. They look nice, once assembled they are sturdy. They are great for CDs, less so for DVDs and even less for blue ray. My advice is, if you need blue ray storage, give these a hard pass... I wish I had
