Why is the flask in the pictures bigger than the one I've just been sent?.

Is the handle on the bag actually leather?

The handle is made of good quality polyurethane (PU) leather

First use, soup was lukewarm at lunchtime - what might I have done wrong?

Put boiling water in the flask 1st. Let it sit 10 mins, while you are heating your food. Pour it out then soup in. Will keep it hot. 👍🏻
