Magnifying Make up Eyeglasses, 3X Magnification, Single Lens, Flip-able Each Side Cosmetic Application

As good as expected for price

Probably works well fpr most people. For me, hard to keep from smudging, which defeats the purpose. I just arrived at the point of needing a little help seeing to do my makeup. Might be better if lens swung out like a door, rather than down. I think the ones that have a single lens that flips from side to side is probably a better option, especially for unsteady hands like mine.

This was a difficult item for me to review. I would suggest that you know what magnification you need and get a higher one. It was a chore putting on eyeliner. Easier to use your tweezers to see a stray hair. Overall I would not recommend these. I suggest you slow down and take your time. These glasses may not be the best for you or maybe it takes a lot more practice to use them.

For those of us who cannot see without glasses and being able to work on each eye individually is great.It frees up your hands from having to hold a magnifier mirror and you can use the normal mirror in your bathroom.

These did not work for me at all. First, you are using your fingers to pull the lens down and so it gets smeary with your fingerprints; then trying to put eye liner on is very awkward. You have to keep tilting it and also trying to get it by going under the lens, it just didn't work for me. I ended up just going back to my old way of doing it by squinting a lot and using a magnified mirror.

The left front lens would not stay up so I e-mailed them for a replacement. When she wrote me back, she had refunded me my money. So even though they went in to the garbage (they were not usable in this condition). I had tried to tighten the screw, etc and nothing worked, or I would have kept them. They are a great deal, if they are in working condition. I am still thinking about buying another pair. I did look at others, but they didn't open as far as this pair to allow you to work on the lower portion of your eye (mascara, eye liner, etc).

The glasses I received are not form fitting of the nose and as a result they sit on my face at an angle. The nose piece is very sharply defined into a V shape instead of rounded shape. When I try to drop one side of the glass piece down to use, I can only see a portion of the other eye from the way it fits. Very Disappointed with purchase and would not recommend it to others!

I would do my eye makeup and then put on my glasses and see how many mistakes I would make now that my vision is going - with these glass (which I recommend wearing upside down) not only help me get a perfect eyeshadow application every time - if I am in a rush and put on makeup without the glasses I am getting pretty good without these on - as if I am getting used to doing it perfectly by using glasses - highly recommend
