purchased for an unsupported headset, but surprisingly enough it still works!
Ok so I have a pair of Sony MDR -1A's not cheap headphones. The cables are expensive to replace and from time to time want to wear them without needing a cable to use them. SO. I went around looking for a way to make this happen and stumbled upon this device. It explicitly says it's only compatible with the devices it's listed and nothing else. Why? because many other headphone manufactures, like Sony, make their headphones in such a way that only their own specific cables and adapters will work because of the uniquely designed 2.5mm port they've installed on them. They basically require the 2.5mm jack going in, to be longer than normal to fit it properly. So what I personally did (not recommended if you aren't knowing for sure this'll work out the same way for you and do at your own risk!) I cut away at the end of the plastic around the base of the 2.5mm plug of the adapter. Just enough to get the plug to fit in and snap into place like it should on my headset. Upon doing this, I discovered that it'll now fit basically ANY headset I have that isn't already wireless! I have a pair of Monster DNA on ear headphones AND GUESS WHAT? IT WORKS!In terms of the battery life, I can't judge it yet. The description says 5 hours I'm going to bring my MDR-A1's with me to work tonight for some comfort listening while doing my overnight. So I'll update my review after testing out the playtime.I will say it looks VERY odd while plugged into my headset because of the design of the headphones themselves haha.

It's okay for the price
Given the inexpensive nature of this device, one doesn't expect too much and that's what it delivers. Audio output is fine, but the microphone leaves much to be desired. Gaming teammates complained the output was garbled and had that "underwater" quality. and that was on the only computer system that would connect. Like many current blue tooth connector devices, this one doesn't seem to connect to many versions of Windows 10 in spite of a variety of blue tooth adapters used. We have 6 blue tooth capable systems in the house and only one works with these types of adapters. Not necessarily the adapters fault but still an issue. It does however work with all ofour Apple and Samsung cell phone.Pros: Low cost, acceptable sound, 3.5 mm adapters work with the QC25 headphonesCons: Lousy microphone output, doesn't connect with my Windows 10 laptop or desktop

Good option for Sennheiser HD 518 headset, with a little bit of work.
I originally had bought these to make my Sennheiser HD 518 headphones Bluetooth compatible. I discovered when I tried to put the 2.5 mm jack end into the chord slot that it didn't fit. However, with a little bit of whittling with a small knife, then filing and sanding the outer shell, it fit perfectly. It's a really good option for those that have Sennheiser HD518 headphones. It powers the audio drivers really well. It's actually louder than with the original cable 🙂. The clarity is very good. Overall, 4/5. With a little bit of work, it did exactly what I needed it to do.

Form factor is annoying
This product works great, both for the mic and the audio. Range is as advertised -- not huge, but fine for connecting to a computer that's a room away. I don't use it very much though because it hits my shirt collar, which is super annoying. I usually cock my head slightly to the side during meetings when I'm using this

Works
The Bluetooth adapter works great with my Bose soundtrue ae2. I wish the adapter was a little bit less intrusive and/or the body was flexible so you can move the mic. other than that, it's the only adapter I've found so far that works well with my headphones. The jack fitting is snug so it's not moving around.

Still got have some wire.
Pros: the product is simple to use .Provides good sound quality.Cons: came with defective adapter 2.5 mmExperience:The product was easy to set up. Basic plug and play. Nothing to deficult to setup. While using the adapter for 2.5 mm with Bose qc25. The provided with scratchy sound quality . Not useable. Using genuine wire with the headphone works great . If you cut the adapter works okay , Distorts should with full volume.

Works great. Wish the listening life was a bit longer.

Works, no volume control, occasional fuzz
Works, but occasionally causes static if slightly pulled out at all, though not pulled out the way out. No volume control onboard.
