Great product
Great invention. Works on my Hasselblad 500 EL/M. Now if I could find someone to fix the camera.

It's straight forward , there are utube videos to look at if your not sure.
Simple, put it into the battery compartment and the Hasselblad el model and it worked perfectly.

Saved my camera!
This thing saved me from what might have been a trip to the repair shop. I accidentally fired my camera with a lens on it, and the original Varta battery didn't have enough power to complete the process. I tried to charge the battery but it wouldn't take a charge. I stuck this thing in and I was able to cycle the camera and get the lens off. I fired it several more times for the heck of it, and it does work. The big question about this thing is that the OEM battery is 6V and this is a 9V setup. I contacted the manufacturer and they said it doesn't matter. They said that the old Hassleblad motors can take up to 12V. So, allegedly no worries about blowing up your motor or blowing the fuse. As far as capacity, the old Varta battery is 500mAh and if you search the internet you'll see that a typical 9V alkaline battery is 550mAh, so a 9V will actually last longer than the OEM battery. There is another adapter (from a different vendor) that takes a 6V battery but I did not choose that one because the batteries cost about $8 each and they would be harder to get. You can get a 9V almost anywhere and they are much cheaper.

Your old and trusty ELM, which has been moldering on a shelf or in a trunk somewhere, can enjoy new life with the simple addition of electricity.
