ATV TEK UTVSLK1, Universal Street Legal Kit for UTV & ATV

And the license plate light is pretty cheap so I ended up going to the auto ...
I bought 2 kits and installed them on Polaris Touring one-up ATVs. The kits contained everything needed but the zip-tie straps were usually too short and there were not enough, and I ended up buying some more heat shrink connectors. And the license plate light is pretty cheap so I ended up going to the auto store for something better. I will say that the horn is really good, better than on my car for what that is worth. The instructions are okay but the diagram pictures are very helpful. I watched some you tube videos and picked up a couple of extra pointers, recommended. But I will say that as far as the ground wiring goes, with a little advanced planning, you can avoid drilling holes in your frame and connect all the ground wires together and ground them at the negative battery terminal, which is a better ground source and you won't end up having to find grounds that have oxidized and no longer make a good contact. It averaged me about 10 hours for each ATV from start to cleanup, less time for the second install, but local shops were going to charge me $200 for installation, plus I learned some things. The cost of the kit is what it is, they all run about the same and I doubt you would come out ahead if you bought everything piecemeal, I found amazon has the best price. Since I had already installed duel mirrors this kit was what I needed. Everything works and I am ready to to get inspected and register street legal this spring. FYI - I'm going street legal because there are a significant number of national forest roads where I live that are restricted from ATV use but are open to street licensed vehicles - go figure.

ATV Tek Signal Light Kit
I am currently installing this ATV Street Legal Kit on my 2015 Honda Pioneer SXS and there is plenty of hardware and good instructions to assist anybody with correct installation of this kit. I would recommend this signal light kit to anyone wanting to make your Side by Side safer. CC46

Good build quality
Good build quality, pretty expensive for what you're buying, but its a lot easier to have a kit than have to go build your own and hope it works. Took a couple hours to install by myself on my 2007 Rhino.

It is a great kit if you don't want to build your own
It is a great kit if you don't want to build your own, but I sent it back because it was overpriced for what was included.

You can get 2 good toggles, a flasher unit
No, those tiny little LED lights are designed as 'trailer / truck marker lights' and they are NOT bright enough to be used as turn signals that can be see out in the sun. Videos trying to sell these kits are all of an ATV or UTV side by side IN THE SHADE because they mostly disappear out in the sun. I live in southern Arizona, figured these would not be bright enough in the sun, tapped one on before drilling 3/4" holes in my machine, rolled it out in the sun and they mostly disappear, adding more won't help much, just not bright enough. It's a real safety hazard thinking others will see these tiny 'marker lights' as turn signals during the day. Took me a long time, but I finally found 2 1/4" diameter round VERY BRIGHT led lights that can be seen on a sunny day, mounted them with one small bolt & nylock nut. These kits are ok except for the lights, way too dim for daytime. You can get 2 good toggles, a flasher unit, a little green blinker indicator, and wiring for far less and do it yourself, adding proper brightness amber led lights. Not easy to find them, but they exist.
