Performance Outdoor Shirt with Repelling Technology

Use in interior Alaska. Works great, comfortable fit and I like the color. Hiking is much more pleasant when I'm not being attacked constantly. It's enough on its own when the mosquitoes are light. When they're going crazy, I have repellant pants, a headnet and my hands are covered in bug juice.

I order a couple insect shielding shirts every year. This shirt is comfortable and effective at repelling biting insects. It feels soft against my skin as well! I am out every day at the Jersey Shore marshes. It works.

This shirt was an excellent under shirt for going out in the woods with. 10 days in Michigan's U.P. and no ticks or bug bites. I am not a store front model so the shirt fit just like any shirt will, loose in the shoulders, tight in the gut. But that at no fault to the shirt, just the body wearing it.

I got it one size up. I'm usually an XS and I bought a S. I wanted it looser on me because bugs will bite through skin-tight clothing. No bites on my arms or torso. My exposed hands and lower extremities, however, were like a buffet to the mosquitos... But that's not the shirt's fault. The material is not breathable at all, as advertised. So therefore ... 4 stars.

Nice color and nice fit - very light comfortable. This can be worn in warmer weather than most of my long sleeve T-shirts. I use it when working in the woods removing invasive plants in areas where ticks can be a problem. So far, it seems to be working well.

I normally get mauled by mosquitoes nightly and this shirt barely lessened it. We have seen them land on uncovered skin of people next to me, then buzz to me instead and bite me through my leggings and tight fitting shirts. I have some sort of unfortunate scent and I react VERY overboard to every bite for a week after. It’s miserable and my body never gets immune to the bites. I hate sprays and pesticides on my skin so I thought I would give this shirt a try. Sadly I was bit through the shirt on numerous occasions. I had less than normal, but still some. So it kinda worked, but not against the REALLY honed in mosquitoes that weren’t fooled. If you’re a normal person that isn’t a mosquito beacon, then this may work for you.

The size was a little bigger than I typically like, but that is slim fit shirts. The looseness helped to regulate heat in the varying degrees of the Canadian Rockies. The mosquitoes and other bugs were kept at bay.
