The STAEDTLER dry highlighters are exactly what I’d hoped for. I travel often and must sometimes work while on the road. These dry highlighters are great! No fear of them drying out. No bleeding into or through the paper.The colors are bright enough to see easily and you never have to worry that you’ll run out of the “ink” since you can see the pencil getting smaller as you use it.In all, this purchase was well worth the money!!

I am learning to play handbells in a group and sometimes it helps me to highlight my notes. Markers bleed through sheet music so I got these. So far they are working well for me and as an added bonus if I make a mistake I can erase!

I prefer textsurfer type highlighters (instead of ink). Had used a green one for a number of years for Bible studies because it didn’t bleed through the page. When that one had been sharpened to the end, I ordered these and am glad for the four colors. They are lighter on the page than the darker ink highlighters, but suit my purposes.

I have an older Staedler dry highlighter that I like pretty well. It's lime green, but I wanted either yellow or pink. This set has 4 colors, including pink and yellow. Like everybody else has already mentioned, the pencils are a unique, large triangular shape which means you'll be using a pocket knife to sharpen them. I could forgive that, but in using the pencils the odd shape doesn't offer any benefits that make the odd shape worth it. Also, for a price tag that's north of $11, these things should be life-changing but they're not. They're just nice colored pencils. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. But, they do last a LONG time. You could probably highlight an entire Bible with this 4-pack.As for the colors, they're great. Yellow is by far the best. At first glance the yellow highlighting appears as though it came from a liquid marker. I have attached a pic of some highlighting samples. The page with no highlighting is back side of the yellow highlighted page. As you can see, there is NO bleed-through. My Bible has super thin pages; if these pencils don't bleed through on my bible, they won't bleed through on yours.These highlighters really shine when you want to highlight longer passages (1 Cor. 13, the beatitudes, the armor of God, etc.) because you can cover a lot of ground quickly and precisely. Just be prepared that it will take a few strokes per line. The pencils are on the harder side and don't transfer full color quickly. So, you just go back and forth a couple times on each line. If you need some Bible highlighters, just bite the bullet and get these. While not perfect, I don't think there's anything better out there.

Bright colors, but translucent enough to easily see the text. Soft core, goes on very smoothly. You do need a larger sharpener but they are worth it. I plan to get a box of 12 to share with Bible Study group.

I appreciated that there are more than the standard 4-colors normally available in pencil sets similar to this one. And, the quality of the “leads” truly lends itself to highlighting thin-papered bible pages.

Really like these! Great for studying in the Bible!

The colors don't change; they stay "neon", unlike marker-type highlighters that change after time.
