ACLS - 2013 - Arrhythmias (Expanded Book) First Edition

By K.G.C.I have been an RN for 32 years. Most of my career has been in the field of cardiology. I have consistently found Dr. Grauer's excellent cardiology books to be an invaluable resource. I am happy to report that his newest book, ACLS-2013-Arrhythmias (Expanded Version) is his best book yet! It is extremely thorough. It includes the latest ACLS guidelines with detailed review on diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrythmias - including numerous clinical rhythm tracings, diagnosis and practice opportunities, information about MIs, echocardiograms, capnography, clinical pearls, beyond the core information, detailed explanations and answers to commonly asked questions - plus much more. Though his book is comprehensive, he presents the information in an easy and fun to read format. I love ACLS-2013-Arrhythmias (Expanded Version) and highly recommend it!

Excellent book for review.Not for first time studying abnormal ECG ś.Gives you easy to look for and remember abnormalities on a ECG.This book is small enough to carry around whenever you see an abnormal ECG.

Very user-friendly book that covers all key aspects on ACLS. Great prep for the course! Complete arrhythmia review with lots of practice tracings. Highly recommended!!!!!

Dr Ken Grauer is a master educator with a very practical teaching style which makes difficult concepts easy to grasp. It is like having your very own tutor sitting beside you and guiding you. It is one of the most upto date arrythmia books that makes the fastest reading for difficult topics. The dynamic illustrations are simply fantastic. The ability to link to other parts of the book and easy access to hundreds of sample rhythm strips makes the book worth every dollar. I am internal medicine resident at UF. I've loved previous books by Dr. Grauer - but this is by far his best! It not only specifically cites ACLS Guidelines - but goes much further with clinical pearls and insights beyond the textbook. It is actually like 2 textbooks-in-one - because in addition to ACLS, it also covers virtually all you need to know about arrhythmia diagnosis and management with numerous tracings and detailed explained answers to all questions. This book is good for every one from medical students , residents, fellows and paramedics who deal with arrhythmia in any clinical setting. I highly recommend this book.
