Works Just Fine
I know I could have spent a lot more money getting a higher quality cable but for what I for what I do (gigging every weekend) it is lightweight, cheap, and replaceable.

Only Lasted 2 1/2 years, but...
I think I got MAYBE three years of use out of the original Roland cable that came with my GR-55 guitar synth. If you're reading this, it probably means you have a guitar synth and use a 13-pin cable, and you're probably aware that the "official" replacement cables from Roland cost around $80. EIGHTY BUCKS! That's just crazy. Bought this cable for less than $20, and got almost as much use out of it before it developed a short just now. If I round the price down slightly to $15 a cable, get 2 1/2 years of use out of each of them - the Roland cable would have to last me 12 years in order to get my money's worth compared to buying this or a similar cable, and you and I both know that ain't happenin'. I use my GR-55 at gigs nearly every weekend, and there's no way to avoid a bit of rough treatment during set up, tear down, and transport. It just happens. With two of these $16 cables in the gig bag, I'm covered - no showing up for a gig with no working synth cable. Roland, I love your products, I love my GR-55, but what's with the $80 price tag for YOUR 13-pin cable?!

Wire colors are mismatched
I bought this because I needed a din 13 connecter for my car radio, first thing I had to do was cut it in half, to wire it up, the colors are din 13 colors but they are not the same as my stock cable. I wired it based on pins and it did not work, if I wire the old one up it works fine. So I’d have to go with faulty cable and if you need to cut and use colors you will have to track colors to figure out what’s what

A cheap replacement
I've read a few bad reviews about these cables not holding up for giging. I play at home so I wasn't worry about that as much as the shielding not being good enough to keep them from causing hum. But they are b very quiet. So I am happy with the two I bough to replace my very over priced Roland cables.

Nice cable for the price
The cable is not as thick as the previous one, but works great. Easy to plug and unplug with the secure latch. It is a little stiff, but doesn't coil nearly as bad as the old one. See if it lasts, happy so far.
