This faceplate comes included with everything you'll need to take the original faceplate off your controller except for a prying tool which thankfully I already own. If you need how-to videos be sure to check YouTube; there's plenty videos of Xbox one controllers being taken apart.I like the look & feel of this faceplate; it has a smooth soft finish that feels great in the hands. While the fit isn't completely flush like the original faceplate, this in no way interferes with the functionality of the controller.I have another faceplate from same name brand but for my original Xbox one controller & it's just as good. I'm satisfied with my purchases!The product description clearly states that this faceplate will ONLY fit the S & X controllers (which are exactly the same thing). The second picture of the product also states the same thing.This is NOT for the original Xbox one controllers with or without the 3.5mm jack; it won't fit the Elite either.

Overall, this is a great fitting faceplate. Taking the old faceplate off and installing this was a breeze, the torque driver and extra screws are included.One thing to note is there are 5 screws, one being right behind a sticker in the battery department, when all screws are off the faceplate should come off very easily with no prying needed.The wood look looks very authentic when installed correctly, however the screws need to be turned very, very tightly or the faceplate will have a bit of creep so tighten those screws as much as possible.

This product did not end up fitting my standard Xbox 1 controller properly. It is a little too big, leaving it loose, and there are visible gaps between the insides of the handle regions, and the actual controller. It doesn’t effect gameplay at all, luckily, but it still should be advertised that it doesn’t not fit properly, so customers know what they are purchasing, before they purchase it.

These look good but pain jn the butt to get the side grips off so not to break clips. But the look good.

Well made, aligned perfect with screw holes.I also modded the LED from white to blue.

Feels disturbingly smooth. Easy to put on. Just YouTube it. Meant to put on Xbox one S controllers. I bought the blood splatter one that fit perfect on my white S controller and tried to make the Nebula one fit a regular Xbox one controller because I thought it looked better on a black controller. Fit kind of. I needed to sand out the top part of the left stick hole to make it fit for 100% mobility (didn't take much). All the buttons and sticks fit fine, the xbox button is recessed more than it should but it wasn't really meant for a regular controller anyway. When my other S controller passes warranty, I might switch it to that one (taking the controller apart voids the warranty). The tools provided are an excellent bonus. Really appreciate that. Remains to be seen if the artwork fades over time with constant handling.

I'm Jason Friday the 13th that's my name but know this soft face touch faceplate is amazing I wish they had more horror characters but is probably a licensing issue but that put to the side I built one and sold my controller for 85 bucks just with some red thumbsticks red buttons and red bumper and I got the controller for 20 bucks mercari but faceplate are pretty consistent on being really defective free I love the pattern so does everybody else is hard to get on I'll put one on my Elite controller I had about four or five different ones on the five Elite controllers I had and I've done of a chrome red with gold buttons and gold accent rings and everything else to Blue with chrome accent rings and everything else so I'm going to do this one with red accent rings giving that horror look with the red buttons triggers bumpers since you can't do a lot on Elite controllers at least I could do that LOL look really nice I love this company that makes these they make phenomenal Chrome All Chrome ones all different color chrome ones all different kind of patterns the soft-touch is really nice feels good in your hands I got 12 controllers sitting on my desk right now I sold 20 last week and they all were custom and every time I grabbed one with the soft touch if I can get the soft touch grips also which they do cell only on certain ones I wish they did that with everyone like for instance this one have a wrap Brown with some more characters that would have been nice fat I give it a 10 out of 10 horse nothing to complain about it for me accept the fact that I don't have the earring wrap around grips with Jane a big deal just wish it had licensing so they could make the characters realistic-looking on there but it still looks awesome one of my favorites so five out of five stars all the way down the board thanksJason boisclair

I wanted a new cover just to spice up my controller a bit. I found this, always loved the art work, and thought it would be a nice fit to my game room's theme. I was so surprised! It came in a nice package, with the tools, and fit probably 98/100. The only slight spot I see is the bottom right corner where the cover meets the handle at the point. There is a slight gap there, but you can't even feel it. Most people won't even see it, and I didn't expect a perfect fit. This exceeded my expectation.

This looks great and it wasn’t too difficult to fit. This faceplate has a soft feel finish and really does look twice the price once on. It looks stylish, and blends in with the living room (I’ve changed!). I’ve been wanting to mod mine since my son designed his own controller at Christmas so this was my chance. WORDS OF CAUTION: Don’t use a butter knife like I did though. I recommend getting a plastic spudger which won’t be expensive. It’ll also reduce the chance of you scratching any plastic. I didn’t scratch anything but it was a thought I had when half way through. The 5th screw is under the sticker in the battery housing. When putting it back together make sure the silver battery contacts are both in the housing and screw it back up. I am not techy or very diy minded and managed this in 15minutes.

Just received this item. I'm not installing it so I cannot comment on that aspect of the product.As for the item itself, here's THE BAD:The faceplate is NOT identical to the image shown here. It's not a million miles off, however my 2 main issues are as follows.The image is slightly off-centre compared to the Amazon image. It cuts off the water lying in the foreground of the mountain, under the d pad and right thumb stick, and I feel ruins the aesthetic of the plate and the image it's based on. As a result, the mountain just looks like more waves, albeit oddly shaped.My second complaint is that there is a section painted white at the upper left edge of the plate, which isn't shown on the product image, nor is it part of the art this is based on, which leads me to believe it's a bad print.In addition to this, there are a couple of spots where the texture is slightly gritty. Considering this product is held in the hands at all times and labelled as soft touch, again it's a bit of a let down.Here's THE GOOD:Aside from my complaints above, the overall quality of the item is decent. It has a nice smooth texture, for the most part, and the product image is colour-accurate.It feels sturdy and unlikely to crack easily.Despite not being pictured, the faceplate comes with a prying tool not essential but very handy for popping off 2 panels on the rear of your controller, during installation.I really wanted to love this item.I will return it and hopefully order a replacement which will be closer to the product images displayed.If necessary I'll update this review.UPDATE.Well my original complaints still stand with the replacement.The image is set ever so slightly higher compared to the last one I received, bit still not a match for the product image.And the white streak in the upper left corner is even bigger on this one.NO gritty sections on the paint finish on this one, at least, which is an improvement.I've fitted the replacement, not a difficult job, however:Do not expect this to fit as flush as the original faceplate the controller comes with.The most obvious parts are a noticeable gap along the top of the face plate and the bumpers, as well as a larger cut for the d pad.These issues are hard to illustrate in photos, due to the back of this faceplate being black and my second controller being black, but with the naked eye you can absolutely see the the glint of metal inside the controller, as well as the light the Home button emits, when on.Hugely disappointed, would not buy another one of these.If you care about detail at all, AVOID this product.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my son. It didn't come with any instructions but was easy to install without. If you need some help, YouTube has several videos to assist.Design and colours are great and have stoodles up to daily wear and tear. Comfortable in the hand and doesn't have that slippery feel, with 'glossy' covers. No issues with ill fitting.It also helps when the kids are playing together. One can't sneakily swap with other, when they haven't charged them properly. Helps limit arguments at home.All in all I would definitely recommend and be purchasing another in the future.

I brought 3 off these thay look really good the carbon style one is really nice . INVEST IN A SCREWDRIVER SET WITH T6 T7 ETC you can get them on amazon for about a tenner .the screwdriver sets come with everything you will need too open up controller, cus the screwdriver you get with it only opens up 1 screw on controller .and also when changing over faceplate take your time the screws are very small and get holed out very easily. Use the right screw driver for it . X one x controllers

The most difficult part of the fitting is getting the controller apart, which is not the fault of this product, once that was done the fitting took a matter of minutes once that was done. The faceplate fits the xbox controller perfectly and the design looks great on there.
