Dexter Turbo II Wide Width Bowling Shoes

Excellent bowling shoes! They are so roomy and comfortable, that I wish Dexter made a version for outside of the bowling alley. Since switching to these shoes from the bowling alley rentals, my average has gone up a whopping twenty pins! If you have wide feet, and are in need of fantastically comfortable bowling shoes, I cannot recommend these enough.

Not a very wide shoe. No slide - constantly soap stoning so as not to break my neck on approach - pretty disappointedNew update- Poor Quality!!! Went to tie my shoes last night at bowling, pulled on the the tongue and it came out of shoe. I've never pulled a tongue out of a shoe in fifty years of tying shoes. See photo. As this happened within 30 days of purchasing - these are being returned without interest in replacement!

I've been wearing Dexter 10EE shoes for years, and although they always start out a little snug I can deal with it for a few weeks until they loosen up. These shoes however fit so tight I didn't even bother lacing them up, I struggled to even get them on my feet, stood up and they were so tight it hurt. I'm struggling to understand how going from one style shoe to another within the same brand can have this big of a difference in size. I wear a 9.5 4E in New Balance, and the Dexter 10 EE have always been fine for me, these fit like a 9 regular. Will be contacting Amazon in the morning to request a return.... Gave 3 stars because they are nice shoes and seem to be well made, but not great for wide feet.

my size 12 shoes usually fit with room in the toes, these are right up to the end but wearable. The soles and sides make these a very comfortable shoe. The wide width is plenty wide and I have extra wide feet. I would take others advice I've seen, if possible order a 1/2 size larger than your normal shoes for bowling shoes.

So, they are thicker, so that's good. They ARE wider, so that's good as well... However, they are more shallow than bowling alley shoes, and typically speaking if you need a wider shoe, you also would benefit from a deeper shoe. In that respect, these shoes fail. Also, the heel portion of these shoes is very soft, so stepping into them, you'll most likely want to use a shoe horn. Overall if they were a bit deeper, I think they would be 100 times better, but as it stands, because they aren't deep and actually MORE shallow than a typical bowling alley shoe, they are just as uncomfortable as a bowling alley shoe, so I feel like I wasted my money.

For reference, I typically wear in 10.5W in New Balance, Sketchers, and Dockers dress shoe. So, I figured since these are supposed to be "Wide Width", I would just order a 10.5 and see how things play out.When they arrived I tried them on and was immediately disappointed. The ball of my foot and little toe was smashed up against the inside of the shoe and I thought, "They call this a wide width shoe?" Luckily, Amazon is awesome, and allowed me to return the shoe for a larger size. I received the replacement size 11 a mere 2 days later. I'm wearing the size 11 replacement as I type this and I have to say that it's still a tad tight, but from the other reviews (and knowing shoes in general) I assume/hope they'll loosen up a little as I wear them.I may update this review later after I have broken them in, but I wanted to write a quick review to help others since Summer Leagues are starting soon.Update: The size 11 replacement pair relaxed after a few nights of pin crushing and worked out wonderfully! I still love the style and I wish I could buy a pair of casual sneakers with a similar look.

This is my third review - this time I ordered and received the 11W shoe that should have fit in size 10W. The 11W has proper toe front clearance and proper width. This one I'm keeping.Got the 10.5Wide and it's not any longer than the 10 I had previously bought. This 10.5 Wide states 10.5 on the tongue, so it should have been longer and wider than the 10.0, but it's not. Will try 11Wide.I normally wear a 104E in most shoes, all my sneakers are 104E, so I ordered a 10W in this shoe. The length was off, toes ran into the end of the shoe and it was tighter in length and width than expected. I am exchanging it for a 10.5W and Amazon makes this very easy to do.

I ordered these because I now need a wide fit shoe. I ordered them a size larger than my current bowling shoes (11M). These may be "wide" in China where they are made but they are not wide by US standards!! I have medium shoes that are wider than these!!

Bought these shoes specifically because they are a wide fit and price. Elsewhere these shoes cost much more so the bargain is with Amazon. I received them within days of placing my order and they fit perfect. Can`t say enough good things about Amazon or the seller. It has been a great experience all the way around. So if you are looking for a pair of wide fit bowling shoes I highly recommend Amazon and this seller. That`s why I gave 5 stars.

These shoes worked out really well. I have used them several times and really like them. When I first tried them on they seemed too narrow and pinched a bit. I walked around the house for a couple of times and they stretched into my foot shape; probably due to heat from my feet. Even when I bowl, they seem tight for the first 3 to 5 minutes and they all is well. In the end, they give excellent support so I highly recommend this product.

Bought these shoes as my second choice, as the first pair I ordered were too narrow. These came advertised as a wide fit, and they are somewhat wider than a normal size. They are still tight, but offer good support, wore them for 3 league days now and they are softening up just nicely.If I had something negative to say it would be that they are hot, in the sense that my feet sweat a bit in them, other than that, great shoe.

Fast delivery, My husband has very wide feet ( 4E ). The shoes fit like slippers very good buy for the price and for confort.
