Good bin.
Assembles easily. Lid hinge is a little sloppy and comes apart rather easily, but snaps back again OK. So far it's a good buy. Let's see if I can now make compost.

not because it's garbage but because as others have said
I'm updating my review from my first purchase. Going from a 3 to a 4 now. I thought the lit might blow away but it's still on there after 1-2 years of use now. The bottom openings still work despite filling it up to the brim with compost. It works like a charm, much better then another cylinder one I had. In fact I just ordered a 2nd one to replace that cylinder one. So i'll have 2 of these. I find it easy to shovel compost out or if I need a lot, i lift the entire bin off the compost. Again 4/5 stars because the price is $99 and I feel it should be less. I imagine the price is set to $99 because of shipping costs (shipping is included for prime members). It's a big item afterall and does a good job. I mean $99 isn't honestly a lot of money, considering this is now my 2nd one and it works great. The lid is the biggest flaw BUT does the job. It falls off the pivot point BUT it's still secure and has not flown away in a few storms now.

Good but wobbly
It’s a fairly good product. The only real issue i have is how wobbly it is. If not laid exactly flat and square the top can blow open and doesn’t close well.Decent design but maybe diagonal braces across the bottom might reinforce it.

Four Stars
Don't buy it - you will have problems with rodents soon. I was so happy at first: the structure was made of durable plastic and light, is was very easy to assemble. Then I happily collected veggies leftovers and feeled great about myself, saving the planet and creating compost for my garden. The composter bin has not bottom but that seemed to me as an advantage for more air and potential worms from the soil. And then today I saw a mouse enjoying my future compost. Gross!! And dengerouse as the bit sits pretty close to the house and also I have a children... Yes, the old school method, metal barrel or at least slightly elevated bin was recommended me by my mother, I had to listen back then.Again, if you have a couple hunting enthusiastic cats you may eliminate rodent disaster. Otherwise, follow my advice and get a metal or well elevated compost bin.

a bit expensive, a little flimsy, but overall very good
Plenty of space, very easy to assemble, convenient hinged lid (which probably needs weighing down with a brick). Thinner plastic than the Algreen Products Soil Saver but a much better design.

Meh! II - update
Would not buy again. I was looking for a second composter to match the Smith & Hawken composter I bought about 20 years ago and is no longer made (S&H is on the left and the Exaco is on the right in my photo). I bought this unit because it was similar in shape and size. It also said that it was made in Germany and I figured it might be well designed and made. I doubt that it was despite the instructions including a German language company address. This unit is single sided, stamped Polypropylene plastic (the inside of the four panels is unfinished plastic). Consequently, the sides and the top are very thin and flimsy even when fully assembled. I agree with some of the other commenters that the hinges are very undersized, flimsy, and prone to breakage because of the poor design (see photo). In contrast, the S&H unit is molded plastic inside and outside and is comprised of three sections which are removeable for easy access and very durable. The Exaco 120 gallon unit is a little too tall to comfortably work (turn) the compost material once added.

save your money
This compost bin is made out of easily warpable plastic, the lid is the biggest offender. It doesn't latch onto the plastic groves given, has blown off in the wind and snowstorms this year, and has warped enough that mice and squirrels have been helping themselves to the veggie peelings. I saw tiny bite marks on the potato and carrot shavings in the compost bin. It's sitting on a concrete foundation with a layer of brick to keeping the compost doors from moving, so the only explanation I could fin is the bin's grooves aren't an issue for rodents to climb. I've bought more bricks to keep the lid on, but when the ground thaws this compost bin is going where it belongs, in the trash. this is NOT WORTH 100, 50 or even 20$ for the amount of effort you will take to keep this bin functional(i.e. buying a replacement lid every 2 months)

Good composter
This composter is a large size and it is easy to put together. It hides the compost and keeps my neighbors happy. My only gripe is that it is a little flimsy when empty and i had to stake it down to keep the wind from constantly knocking it over.
