I ordered this tool for my mother who taught me how to string jewelry back in 2006. The difference between us is she used heavier wire and beads in her style. She recently wanted to learn how to make jewelry in the micro style that I do using finer flexible stringing wired, micro crimps, and, of course, I micro crimping tool.The Beadalon micro crimper arrived today. My Mom came over so I could demonstrated how to use the tool with my beading wire and a micro crimp. She was thrilled with the neat outcome. Turns out she had simply been smashing crimps with her regular crimper and was frustrated with her crimps failing to hold up or look so neat and round like mine do.The Beadalon micro crimper is an excellent tool and I highly recommend it.

This Beadalon crimper is excellent. It is easier to use than other brands which enables the user to make a perfect crimp every time. Most Beaders know it's miserable not to have a great crimp because it can be hard, if not impossible, to recover. This tool allows the Beader to finish off the project professionally.

It seems to do great on the small tube beads, but it can't crimp the cover beads at all. Looks like I will need the Mighty version as well.

Works great. I had originally avoided purchasing a crimping tool and was using a pair of pliers. That does not work properly. What a difference when I started using this tool. Crimp tunes actually look secure and professional rather than being a flat and sharp little piece of metal.Good value tool. Would purchase again!

Beadalon is supposed to be one leading brands in beading but their crimping tool is poorly made and I have gone through so many crimp tube and beads due due breakage because it doesn’t line up properly to crimp the way crimping should be done. Also, it does not open wide enough to accommodate Beadalon’s own brand of crimp covers in the larger sizes. Don’t buy something because it is a brand you recognize. Read reviews. Look at pics with my review comparing Beadalon to an actual decent crimper. A bad crimping tool is frustrating and will cost you money by ruining and breathing crimp tubes and beads not to mention not giving you a professional finished look. Do your research and get one that works well, it makes all the difference

My first pair of crimping pliers came from a local box store, and they have done a fairly adequate job of crimping small crimps--after I finally learned how to turn the crimp and clamp again...But, being a tool junkie and looking for a easier better way, I decided to try a one-step crimping tool. I like it, but it is awkward in some tight situations, so I use both pairs. Neither pair gives satisfactory results with a larger crimp, however.Meanwhile, I kept looking at this Mighty crimping tool, and wondering... would it work???It works great! Both for small and larger crimps. This will probably be the tool I reach for most often. Wish I had tried them sooner. By the way, thanks to the professional beader who previously reviewed these. That review prompted me to try them.

Wouldn’t be without a pair of these. I’ve tried cheap non branded ones, it’s definitely worth paying that bit more for these.

I like all aspects of the crimpers, easy to use, comfortable in the hand and probably the best tool on the market (in my opinion).
