55-58mm Step Up Ring + 58mm 16:9 Wide Angle Lens Hood Compatible for Sony FDR-AX40 FDR-AX53 AX55 Camcorder Camera Accessories

Big drawback is lens hood is visible at corners of 16x9 framing when completely wide. I attempted to screw the adapter in as tight as possible to draw the lens hood slightly closer in to the camera body, but that did not eliminate blacked out corners. With image stabilization off, small black triangles are visible at the corners. With video image stablization on, even more of the black lens hood appears in the frame. The only workaround is zooming in a bit to frame out the lens hood, or cropping out the lens hood in post-production. Too much trouble depending on the project. Returning this and looking for a lens hood that does not intrude.

It installs no problem but you can see the hood in the frame when zoomed out. Useless.

Camera picks up the hood on the periphery. Needs to be more low profile. But great as a dust/lens protector and for sharing light.

Este producto lo venden para cámara Sony AX-53. Pero en función de gran angular distorsiona en todoslos bordes. No aconsejable. Si tiene buena manufactura es una lastima.

Locking ring does not lock.

Für die SONY FDR-AX53 nicht geeignet. Es kommt im Weitwinkelbereich zu einer kompletten Abschattung in allen vier Eckbereichen. Auch der Distanzring bringt keine Lösung. Das Gewinde der Blende ist insgesamt einfach zu lange und dadurch sind die Eckbereich sichtbar. Mit dieser Blende ist eine totale Weitwinkelaufnahme leider nicht möglich. Bei diesem Preis sollte das Ding schon richtig sitzen, schade.Die Angaben in der Produktbeschreibung sind daher eindeutig FALSCH. Daher geht es wieder zurück…

Me parece una vergüenza que ponga que es compatible con la Cámara sony A-33, cuando no es cierto.
