It's very tight, which is what I wanted..
My order came in today along with a sweat vest I ordered separately (currently wearing). I tried the waist trainer on and boy is it tight! As I mentioned earlier in my other review of the sweat vest in wearing right now, I normally wear a size 17/18 in women's pants. I'm 5'3 and weigh 207 lbs. I went with a smaller size than what was suggested in the sizing chart listed for the waist trainer. At my current size, I'm able to use the first set of clasps (there are 4 sets of clasps to tighten up as you start to slim down). The sleeves are definitely tight on my arms as well, which I like because it slims them down slightly. I have what I call "lunch lady arms" (no offense meant to the hard working lunch ladies in school lol). I can tell it will help with my posture so that's another bonus for me. So far, no complaints. Then again, I only tried it on and walked around the house in it. Haven't worn it to go out yet. If my opinion changes, I'll be sure to update my review.

Now I Know Why It Costs Only $30
First of all, this came to me with the seams already ripping away from the backing for the hooks. So even if it fit right (which it didn’t) it’s not like I could have kept and used it.Fit-wise, I found this piece just strange. I followed the size chart to place my order and chose a large. I’m a medium in most clothes but seem to be a large in shapers. Even so, the size chart didn’t help me.First of all, the arms were very short - basically elbow length, and not full-length like the pictures show. I’m about 5’10” though so maybe that’s just a “me” problem. But they were also very loose and offered no compression in the upper arms. None. The armpit holes were also super large. It was just like wearing a tight-ish long-sleeve shirt. (The feeling was identical to when you put on a mens shirt in a too small size and the arms pinch a bit around the biceps, but don’t actually suck you in at all; they’re just tight and annoying.) Yet the arms were super short. I can’t imagine the person for whom short, wide sleeves, and giant arm holes would be an appropriate combination.Yet despite the enormous, floppy, (but somehow) short arms, the body of the garment was nice and tight and very compressive. I could see the difference in my mid-section the moment I put in on. In fact, the compression in the body was so strong and consistent, if the arms had been the same as the body, I’d have been inclined to keep the piece despite the ripping seams. However, the hooks go up so high! There’s barely any room for your breasts to poke out over the top. When done up all the way, my breasts ended up almost around my collarbone. I’d have had to leave the top 4 or 5 hooks undone in order to make it work. Can’t figure out if it’s because I’m too short or too tall that that was an issue, but it was.On the list of positives, this shaper has decent metal/plastic stays, which make it impossible for it to roll up during the day. There’s also four rows of hooks spaced widely, so it would be very adjustable in case you gained or lost weight or just want to control the amount of compression in your waist. And the material was thick and silky and seemed like it would be very breathable. All in all, I don’t recommend this shaper. Short, sloppy arms with a super tight bodice that goes up to the middle of your chest. It’s just got a weird fit to it, and it seems based on my experience and some of the other reviews I looked at that the company has got poor quality control as well. Because the reviews are all over the place if you read them and I simply can’t imagine we’re all reviewing the same garment. Anyone who says the arms on this are too long is either at least six inches shorter than me, or, as I suspect, there’s a LOT of variance in what actually arrives when you order this product. Be careful ordering this. I’d recommend just biting the bullet and paying more for a better, more consistent shaper you might actually use.

Good product just not for me
I have a short torso so this compressor was really bothering me and digging into my TT incisions. Only reason why im returning. Other than that the compressor was perfect around my arms and abdomen area. Really wish the height worked on me .

4-IN-1 VALUE...Arms, Stomach, Breast Lift and Posture
I purchased 2 of these in hopes one would fit. I ordered a M and a L. I currently weigh 170 and am 5'3" and would say I am pear shaped. My upper arms are big and I wanted this to help slim them down as I am on a weightloss journey. Neither the M or L fit me properly. The L was way too tight and uncomfortable on my arms and pinched at the armpit area next to my chest. Other than that it fit comfortably and supportive. If you are my size and have big upper arms I would suggest the XL. I had to send these back just due to the arm area. If you have small or regular size upper arms and you're my size, a L should fit you fine. The garment is well made. The material is thick, supportive and holds you in well. The hooks were secure. The garment does push up your breasts and if you have large breasts they will look huge. I was a bit uncomfortable with that and suggest more of a uniboob sportsbra be worn with it rather than the underwire I tried it on with. I think it helps your posture a bit but not severely. Overall, I think it is a very good quality item and it is fairly priced. I'd say "buy it".

A great place to start!
The media could not be loaded. I am 5'4, 155lb, bust 38DDD 41 inches, waist 33 inches, hip 38 inches. I ordered a large because i have wide shoulders and was heavier when i bought it. There are reviews that recommend i get a medium and i am so glad i got the large, i dont think the medium would have accomidated my shoulders. It has good compression, I'd like it a little bit firmer in the arms but its still going to provide results as it is. I am going to work my way to the lowest clasp setting and then i may look to buy shape wear and compression sleeves separately. Over all its really well made, i feel supported and compressed but i would not turn to this for posture correction. You wont be sad you bought it if your just looking for that little something to see if you will like shapewear for weightloss.

Very tight, especially in the arms
Not for me. The arms are so tight. The whole thing is very tight. It’s not comfortable at all. I’m 5’3” and it would go over my stomach, but it won’t stay there. The part that would normally go in my arm pit was too tight so I couldn’t get my arm in completely. The back kind of buckled in and dug in. It was very unpleasant. I thought I could latch the hooks and pull it on and off like a shirt. Nope. Not even close. I had to latch each and every hook after I put it on. This is just my experience though. I hope yours is better. 5’3”, 185 lbs, normal size XL, purchased an XL.
