I have 1.5l pot which is quite large, will this fit?

I think is too small for a 1.5L teapot.

What size tea pot is this suitable up to e.g. 2 cup / 4 cup / 6 cup... or how many mls?

We use this cosy for a teapot having a usable capacity of 1 litre. Thats 3 or 4 cups depending on cup size. I suspect it would even cover a slightly larger pot if required.
