Great Lure for Casual Fishing!
I recently picked up the Rebel Lures Crickhopper Cricket/Grasshopper Crankbait, and it's been a pleasant surprise. I'm not a pro angler or anything—just like to fish on weekends. This lure looks just like a real grasshopper, and the fish in my local pond seem to love it.It's easy to cast and has a nice action in the water. I've caught a few bass and even some panfish with it. The size is just right at 1 1/2 inches and 1/4 ounce—not too big or too small. If you're looking for a fun lure to add to your tackle box without breaking the bank, I'd recommend giving this one a try!

Incredible top water lure
These are incredible top water lures, for both pan-fish, like perch and bluegills, and bass. Firetiger seems to be a universal pattern they like.

Always caught fish
Only jig I would use. I hv caught hundreds of fish up to 6 lbs. used nothing but this. Almost always out fished others with me. Goes in shallow deep weed waters. Fished with this for at least 17 years. Always brought the yellow

efficient
This lure is perfect for an ultra light setup on the shore or pond. Its action is pretty good and I caught a fish with it every few casts, though the back hook tends to get caught in the hoop for tying it on

Fish catcher in ponds and small lakes
Rebel Lures Crickhopper Cricket/Grasshopper Crankbait Fishing Lure, 1 1/2 Inch, 1/4 Ounce - I have this in a few different color patterns. Fire tiger and brown cricket seems to work best for me in small ponds and lakes. I have one tied on and ready to go almost every fishing trip I take. If I see fish breaking the surface to eat bugs I throw this at them ASAP! I fish it mostly like a top water. Slow slight rod twitches. Strikes come on 3 - 5 second pauses most of the time. Sometimes pretty savage strikes as soon as you start to move it again after a pause. Super fun!

One of my favorite lures
I've caught more fish on this lure than any other lure I've used. Mostly bluegills and sunnies but I've caught a few smallmouth bass and perch on it, too. Vibrant and the back end wiggles a lot depending on how fast you're reeling.

Fantastic lure for trout and bass
I don’t typically write Amazon reviews, but this lure warrants my support. This is my go-to lure for ultralight fishing in the summer months. I am lucky enough to live near a limestone spring-fed creek in PA that is teeming with wild brown trout. Almost all of my catches I owe to the crick hopper. I have also caught large and smallmouth bass out of ponds and native PA brook trout out of small mountain streams. This lure does it all. I have had the most success with the summer hopper and sunburst colors. Most of my catches have relied on this lure’s excellent subsurface action with a steady slow retrieve, but you can also fish it topwater with light twitches. I typically replace the trebles with #8 inline single hooks. You might lose an extra fish or two, but you get a much easier release on the fish you catch, which is less harmful for the fish. I make sure I am always stocked up with several of these before any fishing outing.
