Neoflam Midas PLUS 9pc Nonstick Cast Aluminum Cookware Set, PFOA Free Kitchenware with Saucepan,Frying Pan,Stove|Oven Pot, Tempered Glass Lid and Smart Detachable Handle,Oven Safe,Space-Saving,Emerald

I purchased this set and several other pieces of Neoflam recently. I cannot speak about whether it's long lasting or not, since I've just started using it. This set has slightly different sized pans compared to the Midas + set, and I have both. This set has a larger big frypan, and three sauce pots of varying sizes, the Midas plus has two frypans and two smaller sauce pans, and the lids of the midas plus fit both sets though I'm not sure about the plastic lids for food storage. I don't think those are interchangeable. I just love these. They seem sturdy and are very lightweight. I got rid of a number of cast iron pots and pans after purchasing these and I must say that as a 60+ person who lives alone, I find I have more interest in cooking again with these very colorful fun pots and pans. I especially like their ceramic ware that goes from microwave to gas burners to fridge and freezer. If these hold up over the years they are the perfect cooking pots and pans, and I've been cooking for years:) I will update if and when these start to have some problems. UPDATE: This is a positive update, summer 2017. I've now had this cookware for a year and a half and it continues to be great! Being very careful to wash them by hand and use wooden or silicon/plastic utensils they are like new. There are a couple of scratches here and there, but I use this set on a daily/weekly basis depending on the piece I need. I have a number of other pieces besides this set and they have not disappointed me. A note to keep in mind is to never use really high heat with these. On medium they will bring water to a boil a bit slower than stainless, but in reasonable time. I have experimented with several other non stick pans in the last 6mos. ( the copper ones advertised on TV were on sale during the holidays this year) and they do not compare with the ceramic non-stick pans. At the moment I am testing the "green" pans that have similar ceramic melding from Costco, and they seem to work well also. I really like having the removable handles on these pots and pans. I didn't think I'd like it at first, but found it very useful when several pans are on the stove at once. I have also used these in the oven and they work as well as advertised. I felt it was worth a positive update after a year and a half and will update again in the future if needed either pro or con. UPDATE:2025 This set just keeps on keeping on! Almost ten years and counting, prices have gone up but this set is used in my kitchen almost every day and no chipping or scratching, and even the main handle I’ve been using from the first still works just fine. The last year it sometimes sticks a bit, but always comes free and then has no problem again for months. I’m now 70 and am delighted to have this lightweight, non toxic ceramic coated cookware. I’ll update again if it’s still going in another 10 years!

So far I'm loving this set. I use these daily and they are so easy to clean! I only have one cabinet to store pots, baking ware, and food storage so space saving items are a must. I make sure to use the felt between each pot so they don't scratch and I store them on top of a kitchen towel. I normally wash these by hand but I have put them in the dishwasher. They're very sturdy. The handle I store separately and I only use when I'm having to move a pot. In the care documents it says not to leave the handle on while cooking so I don't. Haven't had any problems. I also love the color. I haven't used the plastic covers as of yet and I don't really see myself using them because I don't store pots in the fridge, I normally transfer to my food storage containers. I plan to use these for years to come so hopefully they stand the test of time.

Update: after 4 years I replaced these with the same kind but stainless steel, since the coating was coming off pretty bad. I still think it was worth it to get 4 years out of it and try out something affordable. I paid a lot more for the stainless steel set but at least I knew I would be happy with the removable handle! I would recommend the more expensive stainless steel if you can afford it, if not, I still recommend these for sure, especially if you don’t mind the coating rubbing off eventually! Also, I probably hand washed 75% of the time, because they were so easy to wash, and the other 25% I put them in the dishwasher, which they might have lasted longer if I hadn’t done that. I bought these for $88 and still using them 18 months later! I literally hand wash these to use them again the same day rather than pull other pots/pans out of the cabinet. They cook great, evenly, nonstick (for the most part, not perfect) lightweight, easy and fast to wash and best part - they take up so little room because they stack! I literally leave these 4 stacked on my back burner all the time with the handle inside as well. I used the plastic lids a few times but I stopped because I want to turn around and use the pot for the next meal! I love these and highly recommend for the average person, I don’t know if a chef level person would be happy since I just cook basic meals. It has never once bothered me having to move the handle from one pot to the other while cooking. Once you get used to it, it’s super fast to release and latch on to the next one. It’s easier to clean in the sink than other pots/pans with the handle off. I have put them in the dishwasher a few times when I was tired and I haven’t had issues but I use these 3 times a day everyday and hand wash 99% of the time.

I love this set and yes it has its flaws which is the detachable handle. I had the set less than 6 months and the handle broke (on Oct 24, 2023). I contacted customer service providing photos and receipt with date of purchase. Even though it took awhile to get a replacement handle, they came through and provided me with a different handle which seems to be more sturdy than the original handle the set came with. Photo is the replacement handle given. (Shipped out on Nov 9th 2023, received on Nov 16th 2023). I like the light weight of the pots and pans cause I can’t use anything heavier cause of hand and arm strength after my accident. The coating is chipping on the edges of the pots and pans which were caused by the original handle placement and usage. The main cooking surface remains flawless after 6 months. They are easy to clean which is a plus that I don’t have to scrub, just soak with soap and water.

I bought a set of Neoflam several years ago and the non-stick coating is light years better than teflon. After seversl years of use, one of the glass lids shattered and I left a one star review. They addressed the problem! Wow. I bought the 10 inch wok, and they have added an edge of silicone that makes the lid much safer. They also engineered the lid so the handle could stay on the pan - there is a small notch in the lid where the handle clips on. I like the weight of the pan, the color and the durability. After years of use, my old handle broke. This one fits the other pans so I'm gleefully using the whole set again. Well done!

The pans are great, heat up fast and are good for cooking and storing for without taking up much space. The handle is garbage. The latch is made of plastic and came apart. Just for comparison, I've had the t-fal insignia for 3 years now, the handles are great. The non stick surface is fine so far, but the paint had started to come off already at the bottom and sides of the pan... Bear in mind that I have a glass cooktop, so no metal to scratch it. For the price, quality could have been much better.

Updated review: These did come with missing lid handles. However, the cookware is fabulous. I will never go back to teflon coated pans. These heat evenly, they're sturdy, and they're pretty. I burned some chopped up turmeric to a crisp when all the water evaporated before I got back to the pot, but it was EASY to wipe off the burnt residue. And unlike with teflon pots, none of the ceramic coating chipped off. I highly recommend these! I got mine for $50 from Amazon warehouse. Original review: I really like these but it was completely missing the lid handles. So my lids just have holes at the top and are useless.

Was so excited with the design and how it could be stacked to save space. Upon receiving the box, the smaller glass lid came completely shattered. It was bubble wrapped and the box was inside another box with other deliveries. I needed to use these pans, so instead of returning the whole set, I started to use them. First, the handle doesn't work. It doesn't hold the pot at all. What if I had hot water in the pot and the handle came off? It is so flimsy that it doesn't hold your pot in place at all. There is a big gap even if you lock the handle on the pot. And on the first use, it broke. The little piece of metal came off and the screw came lose. I was so surprised how cheap the materials were. Also, if you have a metal stove cook top, the paint on the bottom pots will come off as soon as you start using them. And definitely not scratch resistant. Was using wooden/plastic utensils and still got scratches on the pans. Was my first Neoflam experience. Was hoping it would be a good one. Unfortunately, will not buy again.

The 2 plastic lids don’t seal the pans well. I left food in fridge and the next day the lids popped up. The handle is broken and there is no replacement? Amazon doesn’t sell the handle separately

Am very impressed how easy to clean this cookware set is. Lovely colours and great addition to kitchen.

I bought it for the camper. Used it on 1 camping trip and I am happy with the pots. Only thing is the lids does not fit on the small pot, but the bigger lid still fits loosely over it.
