GLASSCAST EPOXY RESIN TINTING PIGMENTS A set of 6 high quality translucent tinting pigments, perfect for creating subtle tints or translucent colouring. Fully compatible with GlassCast Epoxy Coating and Casting Resins. The set comprises of 6 vivid colours ideal for tinting or pigmenting jewellery, sculptures and resin art with anywhere between a faint hint of colour to a very strong, yet still translucent colour. This pack of 10 x 25ml bottles in the following colours: Red, Green, Blue, Purple, Yellow and Orange. These Tinting Pigments have been tested with products from our own range but should also work well with Polyurethane, Polyester and Epoxy Resins from other manufacturers - however you should always conduct your own tests as to their compatibility with other resin systems. How to Use: When 'tinting' clear resins the key is to use only a tiny amount of these translucent pigments. 1 droplet is enough to pigment around 20-40g of resin, depending on how strong you want the colour tint to be and remember that thicker castings will require a lower percentage of pigment because the tint will appear stronger in thicker section. Conversely, thinner castings will require a higher percentage of pigment in order to appear to be the same colour as thicker castings. For larger projects where you may be mixing more than 5kg of resin and splitting the batch down it is advisable to tint the Resin/Part A of the product for the whole project before combining with the Hardener/Part B and mixing thoroughly following the resin instructions and pouring.
