ShowJade® Traditional Small Decorative Pipe

Mine came today. The draw was terrible. I just pulled the plastic mouthpiece out and saw that there is a metal peice attached that limits draw. With that off, this pipe draws perfectly and the size is right on. I took off a star for the mouthpiece. Let's face it, this isn't a tobacco pipe. Once that mouthpiece is out, this works like a champ to smoke what you're buying it for. Perfectly pocket sized, too.

I've been smoking one since July, and it hasn't clogged up yet. My Proto Pipe would need a good cleaning about once a week. I've pulled the metal bowl and scrapped the tar out maybe twice since I've had it. Noticed it no longer comes with the stand... bummer dude..

We purchased two of these pipes and the bowl is too big. In addition, the little holes inside the bowl make it difficult to smoke out of. They are really pretty though. Even nicer looking in person, but cannot use so the money was wasted.

The body of the pipe is shaped so it fits in the hand nicely, but it is made of plastic, painted to look like wood, which makes it feel cheap (which it is, of course, so why complain?). My main complaint is about the design of the trap-filter attached to the mouthpiece: the air is coming through three microscopic holes, which makes the pipe extremely hard to pull. It took me a few minutes with a small drill bit to widen the holes and make the whole thing smokable, and everything works well now, but proves again my point: if you want something good, go for the pricier option. This one is not worth even spending time and postage to return it.
