Easy Install
The part came in a decent box with with generic instructions, but it's a pretty easy install. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the pulley is plastic and the old factory one is steel. I don't think there will be any issues, but it's something to be aware of. Overall a good part and noise problem solved.

Change this tensioner on your car!
Had an issue on GM 3.7L 5 cylinder where it sounded like timing chain rattle on cold starts. Replaced the serpentine belt, idler and tensioner at same time. Fixed the worrying rattle. Everything should be replaced as a set

This brand wont break down
after 2 failures from other brands (complete disintegration) of metal when turning it down- This one worked. Don't waste your money on any other tensioner. My belt was already too short so I was really giving it some push and it help up. oh- also make sure of your belt size! Third times a charm.

Works well on 2003 ChevyTrailblazer 4.2L Vortec
Installation was simple. The old part was accessible for clearance. Removal time: 20 minutes on a cool engine and serpentine belt reinstallation, but your time may vary.
