So far so good, charging is efficient, battery goes 25-80 miles depending on speed
I have a 1000W bike, usually use either 130, 230, or 400 watts a time. If it's 1/3 climbing, 1/3 flat, and 1/3 descending, then I probably use an average of 155 watts through the whole loop, including when the system is turned off downhill. This will give a range of around 30-40 miles. If I'm on flatter stuff I could probably to 50 miles or much more. My typical rides are 10-15 miles at a time (not a lot) and the battery is usually only drained 10-20%!!! So this is a good battery, I highly recommend it. In fact a 10Ah battery would have probably been fine. FYI in my 18 inch 26" bike frame this BARELY fit inside the frame, it misses the shift cables above by about 3mm. If you have a small bike you may want to do 10Ah instead of this battery, otherwise this one rocks.UPDATE: worked fine the first 200 charging cycles. Range is down around 20-30% after 225 cycles. I don't think it will last 300 cycles. It's to the point that I need to stay within 4-5 miles of home in case the battery gets under 25%. These are NOT good 16850 cells. They are not horrible but the battery should have lasted twice this long and it didn't. If I can get 300 cycles out of it that means it was around $1/cycle which is not bad for the money, I'm not saying it's a ripoff or anything, but don't expect 500 cycles because you will not get that.

Arrived in good condition, it functions. At $235.00 the price is right!
I received this item in a crushed box at the $235.00 price. However, it was well packaged there was no damage. The item arrived without instruction as to use. There is a red off/on switch next to the charging port. There is also a USB port located on the opposite side of the charging port. When the switch is ON at the top front is a button that when pressed gives the state of charge in green and red led's. Also, the red and black leads at the base gives a reading of 52.4 volts. The polarity is correct, the red lead is positive the black lead is negative. Since there are no instructions. I have to wonder if you are to charge the battery with the switch on or off or does it matter? I assume it does not matter. The charger plugged into the battery, on the charger a red led is displayed. The red LED on the charger turns to green indicating a full charge. All this being said, The battery seems to be well made, compact and on my bike easily attaches to the water bottle mount. Where with a key the battery can be detached should you wish to secure or charge it. I have tested it with a 1000 watt bike motor and the front wheel works when I depress the thumb throttle. I will update this as to range as I use this battery. Afterword; Today I tested this on a road bike with a 1000 watt motor drive. I was able to use the motor pretty much exclusively for 8 miles. I would buy another.

Never over exert your motor and pedal assist will prolong your range and motor life
I purchased this battery for a 1000watt hub kit and it worked real good in pedal assist 3 you can go far about 15 to 20 miles and you will still have power left so if you lower the assistance level you can go 50miles or more throttle only the distance will be short and it depends on your weight and the bike your using i`m 250lbs and have a fat bike but to make a long story short this is a good battery with name brand cells and the seller is pretty good in ansering all your questions i`d buy from them again good luck

Work Good
I would like the battery to last longer, but it does its job well. This battery is bigger than expected and did not fit my bike, although I found how to fix it in the Home Depot, and the solution came to me very well, because the lines are very short. In the description of the product says to put the contact ON when you are charging the battery, be careful with that point because it does not come with any instructions.

Still works
It's been about a year owning this battery..the USB has never worked.. I took the battery apart and saw that the USB port was non existent.. the battery is still working though so I'm not going to diminish the product too badly on account of the USB port.. I bought it for an e-bike.. the USB port would have been an extra bonus

Works great!
Feels great! Wires may be a little short but that's a really easy fix! Will update this review in the far future about its battery life. I may buy another one of these as a backup!
