I buy these socks every year for my older son & this year I bought them for my youngest son as well but they run really small. I bought the biggest side for my 10 year old who has pretty big calves, weighs 115lbs, wears a 5.5 shoes & is in the 75th percentile for height. They are tight & you can see his legs when he plays football. After his first game, he was out for the season with an injury so I didn’t bother separating the two pairs & his 5 year old brother wore the bigger ones to most of his games. He’s 48 inches, 48 lbs, wears a 12 shoe & has skinny little legs. The “big” ones were a tad long but otherwise fit him perfectly. I do love the numbers on them so I wish they would make them a little bigger. I don’t think my older one will get in them next year.

I bought the size 8-12 years. My daughter is 10 years old and she wears a size 4.5 shoe. The socks are perfect on her. No room to grow. I wish they posted the shoe sizes rather than the ages. I wanted to purchase the size 13-17 to see if it fits better but they were sold out of her number. The quality of the socks are really good though.

I was hoping to find socks that match the color of my daughters basketball uniform. All I could find was black ones. The fit perfectly and my daughter started a trend on her team. I actually like the black socks because they look great with her uniform. I had to order a larger size because they tend to run slightly smaller. My daughter is 10 and I had to order for a 13-17 year old. I will definitely buy more for next year!

My son loves these socks. They are a little big but they still work. (in terms of size of the foot, not that the socks are baggy or sag)He has only 7, wears a size 13.5 shoe.Loves his number (12) In his legs. Nice quality. He gets confused which leg needs the 1 and which leg needs the 2 (for #12). ;) it’s cute.

Loved the socks. My only issue was they ran small. I bought larger for the age group I needed for but were still small. We made them work and team loved them

The socks ran small. Very difficult to get these over the shin guards. However he loves having his number on his socks.

My daughter likes these, but the first words out of her mouth we, "those look small." She's a petite 5'1" and we got the pair sized for 13 - 17 year olds. There doesn't appear to be any bigger sizes, so caution when choosing for your child.
