Using this with cast iron pan over a campfire. Easy to lift a lid and place it aside and off the ground. Sturdy enough and packs small since it is two pieces. One piece slips over the other. Seems like it should last and give good service around the campfire.

A+ product if you use a Dutch oven near a fire. Keeps everything clean, neat, and easy.

I bought this in order to be able to take the lid off of the Lodge Dutch Oven--in order to stir the contents cooking--without the need of heavy duty gloves and to keep the lid from getting dirty sitting on the ground. I highly recommend this item.

Good for the money spent

I like being able to keep the lid off the ground, but it's a little awkward to get the coals off.

We bought this for our scouts. It makes so much sense to keep your lid and food dirt free. It keeps your hands safe from burns. A regular lid lifter is helpful but this does both jobs. Fits different brands too. Very sturdy has a nice handle that fits tight against the lid. It wont get hot even if its out a while with a hot lid.

Beim Dutch Oven taucht immer das Problem auf wohin mit dem Deckel da era. sehr heiß ist undb. sich immer wasserdampf im Deckel bildet.Somit die ideale aufbewahrung damit am Tisch. Der Trum von Petromax ist mir einfach zu klobig und zu teuer.
